Me and my husband will be visiting luxor in november with our son who will be 5 months old. I know Luxor well (my husband is Egyptian) but this will be the first time we have visited with our son. Does anyone know where I can buy SMA white baby milk and pampers nappies, Or if not pampers could someone advise me what the local brands of nappies are like.

Pampers are available, maybe not as good quality, but there are normally plenty alternatives. Also I used a milk called S26 in a blue tin, can get this from any pharmacey, same as SMA. It used to be around 15EP per tin, don't know how much this costs now. If your not sure, you should take a few tins with you.

You will find both in every pharmacy. Instead of pampers try to look for Finies. They are bit more expensive and not available everywhere, but they are of much better quality than the egyptian pampers.
