Pakistan has taken the landmark decision to allow transsexuals to have their own gender category on some official documents.

The country's Supreme Court has ruled that those Pakistanis who do not consider themselves to be either male or female should be allowed to choose an alternative sex when they apply for their national identity cards.

oh thought they allowed them to put 'Nurse' in it's place.

Nurse once told me there are 3 genders in hospitals, male, female and nurse. [Big Grin]

And yet most of the west won't allow such a thing.

When a transgender person who has made the surgical switch goes through the process to have their gender changed with the Social Security administration it takes a very long time and its brutal.
