off topic but an excellent book. If you want to get a clear view of the Indian wars in America after 1783 check out the biography of 'Tecumseh' by John Sugden.
"this biography of America's greatest and most famous Indian leader is definitive. In depth of research, exceptional handling of evidence, perceptive analysis, and incisive interpretation, it is unlikely to be surpassed. Tecumseh is clearly shown to have been a figure whose thought and action profoundly touched a world inhabited not only by his own people but by a multitude of associated tribes and by the white pioneers whose westering tide ultimately engulfed it."
