Out of 1000 films that have Arab & Muslim characters (from the year 1896 to 2000) 12 were positive depictions, 52 were even handed and the rest of the 900 and so were negative.

Perhaps it's freedom of art just like there is freedom of speech? BTW It goes both ways IMO.

I had a good laugh watching that trailer. Movies can be so stereotypical and silly.

Its well known that Arabs and Muslims have been badly seen in the West for centuries. But Westerners aren't exactly seen well there anyway.
I think it's mostly undeserved in both sides, and there are of course bad and good people everywhere.
