Originally posted by Mike111: [QB] mena7 - You are right on at least two accounts: 1) Slavery was common in all advanced civilizations. 2) What made the Albinos slavery unique, was that it was "Race" based. Though one could argue that by virtue of the "name" Slavery: i.e. the Albino SLAV'S: medieval slavery may have been "Race" based also. But what truly distinguishes Albino Slavery from all others, is what went with it. Not only was it totally Race Based: But in the annals of history, there are no other instances of the conquering people trying to erase all traces of the enslaved, even to acts of genocide and revising history. That is a new wrinkle introduced by the Albino people. However, let me clarify one point: When I say the annals of history, I am speaking of conventional text. The Albino people had the foresight to arrange religious cover and justification for what they did. So you will find enough instances of Genocide and general killing, in the Christian old testament to give you nightmares for a long time. What better way to numb the human mind to what would be asked of the adherents. My guess is that the Turks did the same to the Koran. On a personal note: Years ago I was researching some history/Bible text for commonality, when I ran across some stories of Moses as leader of the Israelites. The Genocides he ordered, and his specifically ordering the killing of Women and Children (which were usually spared), certainly put the Albino revised Bible in a new light for me. BTW - Only when Biblical text actually written by Hebrews is made public (the Dead Sea Scrolls) will we know what the Christian religion is really about. [/QB]
