Their was a a thread here on ES some time ago about the skeletal remains found in a Brazilian cave, in which they found a Black female which predates any other Mongoloid found in Brazil. This is a fine documentary about this find, & tantalizing theory's on how she might have got in Brazil at such a early date .

this very speculative video cliams that there was an early population of Austrailian aboriginees who lived in South America around 10,000 years ago

They speculate that these Austrailian aboriginees were wiped out by mongoloids but some survived in Tierra Del Fuego on the Southern tip of South America
And some of these Austarlian aboriginees intermixed with mongoloids and a few have survived to this day

Phenotypical analysis
Her facial features include a narrow, oval cranium, projecting face and pronounced chin, strikingly dissimilar to most native Americans and their indigenous Siberian forebears. Anthropologists have variously described Luzia's features as resembling those of Negroids, Indigenous Australians, Melanesians and the Negritos of Southeast Asia. Walter Neves, an anthropologist at the University of São Paulo, suggests that Luzia's features most strongly resemble those of Australian Aboriginal peoples. Richard Neave of Manchester University, who undertook a facial reconstruction of Luzia (see the photograph above), believes that it is negroid.[3]
Neves and other Brazilian anthropologists have theorized that Luzia's Paleo-Indian predecessors lived in South East Asia for tens of thousands of years, after migrating from Africa, and began arriving in the New World, as early as 15,000 years ago. Some anthropologists have hypothesized that Paleo-Indians migrated along the coast of East Asia and Beringia in small watercraft, before or during the last Ice Age.[citation needed]
Neves' conclusions have been challenged by research done by anthropologists Rolando Gonzalez-Jose, Frank Williams and William Armelagos who have shown in their studies that the cranio-facial variability could just be due to genetic drift and other factors affecting cranio-facial plasticity in Native Americans.[4][5][6]
A comparison in 2005 of the Lagoa Santa specimens, with modern Botocudos of the same region, also showed strong affinities, leading Neves to classify the Botocudos as Paleo-Indians.[7]

A few years ago, I met a Black woman at an international meeting and asked "Are you Australian?", she said "I wish" and explained that she was African-American. I wondered by then, how come she looked Aboriginal.

The aboriginal population of the Americas was not 'erased' by later arrivals of 'mongoloids' or central North East Asian types. They all became part of Native American diversity which reflects the original Asian diversity. That diversity remained in place right up to 150 years ago when they were replaced by European illegal aliens.

Some native Americans look very much like Central Asians or Tibetans while others look more Pacific Islander, Aborigine and a blend of all three.

The aboriginal Asian/African phenotype is still found among purely indigenous people in South and central America. European anthropologists keep trying to pretend that it 'disappeared' somehow. And these are pure indigenous people in far remote parts of South and Central America or Mexico.

^^^ Your terminology is wrong "aboriginal Asian/African phenotype"
The aboriginal phenotype of the Tarahumara is Native Amercan.
They are believed to be derived from Asians by some but nevertheless you cannot call something "aboriginal" and then associate the term with regions elsewhere, that is a misnomer
Using the word "African" in describing their phenotype makes no sense and it is not supported by genetics either

As we can see the Africans are the furthest away genetically from Native Americans like the Tarahumara

That is not to say that Africans have not mixed with Native Americans or that people of the word don't have some features that cross over to an extent
For instance, Europeans have an eye shape more similar to most Africans than do most East Asians

And remember the article in the papers from a few years back about skulls resembling "Africans" and "Aborigines" versus "Mongoloid" native Americans..... They claim that those features disappeared and were replaced by later "mongoloids". My point is that those features never left and are still there to this day.

quote:

A human skull that is prominently displayed at the National Museum here has been attracting crowds and controversy in equal measure since it was first unveiled early this month. After two decades in storage, the fossilized cranium has now been identified by Brazilian scientists as the oldest human remains ever recovered in the Western Hemisphere.

The skull is that of a young woman, nicknamed Luzia, who is believed to have roamed the savannah of south-central Brazil some 11,500 years ago. Even more startling, a reconstruction of her cranium undertaken in Britain this year indicates that her features appear to be Negroid rather than Mongoloid, suggesting that the Western Hemisphere may have initially been settled not only earlier than thought, but by a people distinct from the ancestors of today's North and South American Indians.
.....
Luzia's Negroid features notwithstanding, Dr. Neves is not arguing that her ancestors came to Brazil from Africa in an early trans-Atlantic migration. Instead, he believes they originated in Southeast Asia, ''migrating from there in two directions, south to Australia, where today's aboriginal peoples may be their descendants, and navigating northward along the coast and across the Bering Straits until they reached the Americas.''

http://www.nytimes.com/1999/10/26/science/an-ancient-skull-challenges-long-held-theories.html

Racists are constantly trying to put populations in to discrete boxes which do not overlap. And in doing so, this allows them to put unique traits and characteristics on certain groups and not others. But in reality the fact of OOA shatters that nonsense, but that has not stopped them from trying to recover some of their demolished theories. All over the world no matter where you go, the farther you go back, the more the phenotype converges on African features. This only reflects that all human features (not talking skin color) ultimately originate in Africa. The dark skin color is just the most obvious evidence as the earliest humans originated in tropical, high UV environments.

And keep in mind that white folks are still trying to pretend that the first people of the Americas, especially North America were some kind of ancient white European looking population. That is why this area of anthropology is so hotly debated and contested. White folks do the same thing everywhere they go. From Egypt, to Asia and the Americas, trying to steal and erase the people, history and culture and replace it with their own.

And there you have it people, white supremacy at its best.

It's the perfect way to dismiss Amerindians.

Stone-age Europeans 'were the first to set foot on North America' - Telegraph

In a discovery that could rewrite the history of the Americas, archaeologists have found a number of stone tools dating back between 19,000 and 26,000 years, and bearing remarkable similarities to those made in Europe.

All of the ancient implements were discovered along the north-east coast of the USA.

The tools could reassert the long dismissed and discredited claim that Europeans in the form of Christopher Columbus and his crew were the first to discover the New World.

Previous discoveries of tools have only been dated back to 15,000 years ago and prompted many archaeologists and historians to question claims that stone-age man managed to migrate to North America.

But the striking resemblance in the way the primitive American tools were made to European ones dating from the same period now suggests a remarkable migration took place.

Adding to the weight of evidence is fresh analysis of stone knife unearthed in the US in 1971 that revealed it was made of French flint.

Professor Dennis Stanford from Washington's Smithsonian Institution, and Professor Bruce Bradley from Exeter University believe that the ancient Europeans travelled to North America across an Atlantic frozen over by the Ice Age.

During the height of the Ice Age, ice covered some three million square miles of the North Atlantic, providing a solid bridge between the two continents. Plentiful numbers of seal, penguins, seabirds and the now extinct great auk on the edge of the ice shelf could have provided the stone-age nomads with enough food to sustain them on their 1,500-mile walk.

"Across Atlantic Ice", a book by professors Stanford and Bradley presenting the case for the trans-Atlantic trek, is published next month.

If you would fight as vivid for ancient Egypt in the African context, as you fight for any other culture, you would have been amazing. [Big Grin]
