The student cited the host of the workshop as someone who could be considered "dark-skinned". Dark skin is vague which is why Keita says he doesn't know how dark. The San are lighter-skinned than the average tropical African and yet dark-skinned compared to the average European. Keita was trying to be descriptive without using racial terminology which he felt would have been misleading in that situation. [/QB][/QUOTE]
