The only source of vitamin D paleolithic Europeans had was fish which wasn't as much as that found in marine mammals so no doubt even before the introduction of agriculture thier skin color was already quite light. [/qb]
I've already explained this to these imbeciles. Eskimos diet has, and always has, consisted of a much much more rich Vitamin D level than Europeans. Which was also never interrupted or shifted by agriculture, like Europeans were. This is ALL that Eskimos eat, and always ate, immense amounts of Vitamin D. Not too sure how quite light you mean, I know Nina Jablonski in Journey Of man says Europeans were probably quite lightly pigmented, but still they were brown skinned, and remember these early Europeans also exhibited tropical adaptations as well. Eskimos despite retaining their melanin are extremely cold adapted. So even though cold adaptation doesn't mean white skin(ex. Eskimos) I am pretty sure though tropical adaptation definitely entails brown skin. [/QB]
