September 11, 2023 Dr David "Imhotep" Jones passed away. He was an author who had some controversial and "alternative" views, among others about an alleged black presence in pre Columbian America.

My condolences. Although I don't agree with his historical premise, perhaps the only good thing about he and other scholars of his ilk is that it encouraged inquiry into the subject. I know many like to make fun of such theories, but part of free speech and inquiry is to allow such assertions and be able to refute them.
