Sinai resort bomb suspect dies A suspect wanted in connection with a series of bombings at tourist resorts in Sinai has died while being pursued by the police, Egyptian officials say. They said Arafa Auda Ali was killed as he tried to throw an explosive device at members of the security forces chasing him. The incident happened near the town of Rafah, close to Egypt's Gaza border. Police say Ali was a leader in Tawhid wal Jihad, a group, Egyptian authorities have blamed for several Sinai bombings. The authorities named 25 people as suspects in connection with the most recent attack - a triple suicide bombing in Dahab last month in which 23 people died. At least seven of those suspects have been killed in police operations, a number of others have surrendered.
