Just got 4 of his books(2 just in Arabic)_ in the mail and
1-"Introduction to a New and True Hieroglyphs," 75% of it is in Arabic. If you only understand English- visit in lieu his website
2-"Hieroglyphic Roots "vol 1 , English with some Arabic,270 pages.
Vol II is not available..(?)
If you want to comprehend Dr Alsaadawi BACKTRACKING THIS BOOK IS A MUST..
I HAVE TRIED TO GET A GRASP FO HIS METHOD FOR MANY MONTHS now but with this book everything becomes a little bit clearer..
Yes,his supposition that the AE language was very stable is WRONG because it had to depend on the way each group memorised the expressions so in times of internal dissent,conflicts.. etc..some meanings were lost/corrupted..
And that reason he gives it unwillingly in this book.(p 64-65)
He does not give it out on his websites..
Due to the political/religious pressured he encountered AFTER the publication of his book he started to do some backpedalling or tracking..
And there was a LEGAL reason for it too- the legal actions vs him by Tarek Abdel Moty claiming that he stole parts of his discoveries..
If you read Arabic you can judge by yourself-as I do not I can only conclude that the allegations vs Dr Alsaadawi appear to be serious..
Okay here is what is advanced in his Hieroglyphic Roots Book(vol I):
1-the AE language is NOT ALPHABETIC
2-Hieroglyphs symbols are made of 20 BASIC PHONETIC FAMILIES
Or letters A,B,C,etc (sound values) are the BASIC phonetic families]
3-each symbols in each family could be used as an INDEPENDENT letter with a BASIC SOUND related to its family [re his concept of motorizing letters-see his websites]
4-an infinite number of phonetical oral combinations (expressions) can be made,at least 50,000. The AE stated that they were the words of God,therefore sacred.
5-Groups[scribes ?] of AE rational [?] people were divided into divisions,squads etc..and each one of them HAD THE OBLIGATION to memorise a certain number of phonetical values and they in turn had to teach them to their successors !
6-about 1,000 hieroglyphic were used,each with a specified sound to serve these expressions by making different combinations based on FIRM rules..
7-these hieroglyphic expressions were CODED in a form of shorthand
8-the original KEY was needed to find out the real meaning of the longer and real glyph being expressed in a short hand form..
9-a backup system was used written in full alphabetic language. -letters of this sytem were chosen to carefully minimize the "drawing" phenomenon of the hieroglyph -later this was turned to an advanced form of the Demotic language.
[this might explain the increased number of basic hieroglyphs from about 1,000 to over 6,000 during the time of the Ptolemies/Romans;that being an attempt to retain as much as possible original hieroglyphic phonetic expressions.
It also implies that Champollion and his successors not realising the above went on to make several gross mistakes..]
10-each PHARAOH/KING HAD TO adopt one or two precise expressions(hieroglyphic combinations) out of these sacred expressions to the way he THINKS or BELIEVES.
Therefore the MAJORITY of the WORDS in the CARTOUCHES are NOT NAMES.
Each is a selected expression(hieroglyph combinations)that can BE USED NORMALLY within any AE text !
So there you have it ,the essential of Dr Alsaadawi's method...
Conclusion-so you can imagine that all HELL BROKE LOOSE AFTER THAT !
Imagine finding via his method words in AE texts like : Adam, children of Israel,Jacob, Noah,Jesus, Angel Gabriel, Mary,Solomon,JAcob, Allah,Moha'mad,the Messengwer, the Christ, Jesus the Christ ,Son of Mari,
No wonder the religious authorities etc, went bananas !
And that was the end of his "mediatic career".
And the beginning of his persecution (books being banned,physical threats,governmental pressures etc..
I think that due to Dr Alsaadawi proeminence and fact that he was a high ranking officer in the Egyptian army and came from a military family were factors in him being able to remain alive and out of jail..

Notes: BHieroglyphic Roots vol 1 as a sort of primer. At least 10 other such books are needed just to begin to have an idea of what the AE language was all about..
Hopefully others on this list will be able to look up his website and purchase some of his books..

Forgot to mention that in Vol 1 only the 10 families sound values are in it..the rest in Vol II (which is not available or having been printed ?) GARDINER=G Here are the 20 sound(phonetic) family values(as per English alphabet) as per Dr Alsaadawi
11-N 12-O(o,w) 13-R 14-T 15-U(u,y) 16-Z 17-H'(h',7 )G[V28]or the Arab letter #6, 'Haa' 18-KH(kh,gh) 19-SH 20-3(a',3)G[D36] or the Arab letter #18,'ayn
Finally Dr Alsaadawi,from the above method was able to find words in the AE texts like : Mo'hammed, The Christ, Forefront leader,Iman Egypt- Misr- Allah,
such phrases as "huwa Allahu Ah'ad"-meaning "He is God,the One and Only "
And the phonetic value of the HILL sign G[X1]and its UNDERLYING SECRETS..
It is the sound family value #14-T.So this Egyptian phoneme representing a HILL is TL/tal
However it can represent 2 sound values,which are T(X1) and L(V13):
So T(X1) can represent sound values of T,L And L(V13) can ONLY represent sound value of L
It is ONLY by knowing the CONTEXT of a word in a sentence that you can differentiate between both tones..
Additionally T(X1) has 2 MORE TONES:
-H(family #7)G[O4],the Arabic letter #26, "haa";it comes only at the end of a word,with no successive words -t'a,the Arabic letter #16, "Taa"
As a whole the HILL sign(X1) has a precise phoneme which is ALLAH,which means GOD
