I haven't heard that term in about 15 years!!!!
It's slang for something REALLY far away. Some don't say BFE, they might say 'Cairo' as in 'whoa man! you live all the way out in Cairo!' even if they live in the same city, just a long drive. (description for something far away)

Where I live it's used very frequently. Like..I had to park all the way in BFE or our seats were in BFE.

I thought thats what it stood for. I was telling my husband about it and then I realized that maybe my friends and I had made it up or something because it is crazy! Does anyone know where this term came from?
