Always refreshing to read her entries! Keep it up, girl!!!! [Smile]

1. If you walk down the street with a friendly smile on your face people look at you like you're crazy. Always looks pissed.

2. Your feet will never, EVER, be clean. Unless you wear two pairs of socks and hard-toed Uggs, forget it.

3. You can get used to cigarette smoke really, really quickly it's scary.

4. It's socially acceptable to be rude. Especially to taxi drivers. It's also OK to idle. Wasting time in coffee shops literally just sitting there is a science.

5. Air can actually burn you. When it's 41 degrees outside, it will hurt.

6. You can have hot chocolate delivered to your doorstep. This is the best city in the world. Hands down.

7. Plan your trip. It becomes too much to try and look for a store front, avoid the potholes in te sidewalk (or street if there's no sidewakl) and try to not to be killed by traffic.

8. The Nile looks better from a distance. But what a sight it is.

9. The price for a Nile view apartment is a million mosquito bites a day.

10. Anti-perspirant is optional.
