Have any of you ever been in a public toilet ie Cairo Airport, and got really angry to find as soon as you sit down someone banging repeatedly on the door? Today I found out that in Egypt, this is a polite way of discovering if someone is occupying the toilet!

So don't be tempted to shout, "bog off" or something similar, this is considered good manners! Just sit back and relax [Big Grin]

I simply can't speak when I'm in the toilet. Physically impossible, not even to yell 'aiwa!'
I am so paranoid that the lady at Carrefour lets me use the disabled one.
Must have had a bad experience and blocked it out.
Oh God, I AM mad.
