Hi all. I am an Aussie living in Cairo with my Egyptian husband. I have lived here now for 2 yrs and am still finding it hard to settle down and come to terms with the life here. It has been hard for me to leave my culture and to accept what is expected of me here but I am trying though.I am hoping to meet other Aussies through this forum who are happily married to Egyptian men and living in Cairo.

I am not from Australia, but would like to suggest that you ask at the consular section of the Australian Embassy in Cairo? I believe they would be able to help with contacts?
