..by which I mean, if you are calling organisations that say 'press button X' for this or that department.
I've just discovered on Skype a number keypad on the "call phones" tab, which, when I pressed '2' - acted like the real thing! Skype Version 3.8
Just thought someone might be interested ....

Thats been there awhile Shanta If you press a number on your keyboard during a call it works the same also, I use it quite a bit checking my voicemail in the states remotely.

I never got the pressing a keyboard bit to work though - maybe because I have to use the 'top row' numbers as I don't have a numeric keypad on my lappie.

I was calling B.A recently to change a flight but as I had not upgraded Skype pressing a number did did not work, but having said that I got much better service, quicker just hanging on for a 'real' person.

That's odd about the keyboard numbers. I've been using skype when in Egypt since 2005, and the numbers (normal top row ones) have always worked that way for me on my various laptops and skype versions throughout the years. Makes me wonder what's different about it... ??
