That's pure garbage. No one can live on so little money.
And why do they have to be married and with children? What business is it of yours [Confused]

It is $14 per hour which is not garbage, it is much more than minimum wage ($9). Unfortunately many can and do live on that salary.

They should have children and spouse in Egypt to indicate they will leave at the end of the Canadian work permit (strong ties to the home country).

That's no where near average wage for a chef. Chefs don't get minimum wage.

Let's break it down to make it clearer.

$2000.00/ Month - $600 Taxes and other deductions= $1400.00.
Of course they will not each be living in an apartment because that would eat up more than $1000.00. So let's say they share one or rent a room for about $500.00 each.
That leaves $900.00/month to pay for food, transportation, entertainment, cloth, medical,phones,cloth.......

That's slavery.

That wage is good for a student or someone's first job but certainly not a Chef.

Go ask a chef in Egypt what he earns, that will break it down to make it clearer (to you).

Exactly my point, you're taking advantage of them.
Now you go ask a chef what he earns in Montreal!

Well good luck I am still looking to hire a chef to work at my house IN Egypt and am offering a higher than average wage.

Very few bites and so far no-one who could be considered a chef.
