I've been looking into Lasik surgery since I have never been comfortable with wearing contact lenses or glasses. My vision isn't that bad (-1.5) but I want to be able to see well.
I will be going to Maghrabi Hospital (Abbas El Akkad) to ask about Lasik.
Has anyone ever had this surgery done in Egypt (and at Maghrabi Hospital)? Is there anything I should be aware of before I consider doing this surgery? On the phone Maghrabi Hospital told me it would cost between 5000-7000LE.
Any tips or advice would be great

Cloudberry, did you have your Lasik done at Maghrabi Hospital?
And if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost? They told me that the surgery would cost about 6000LE and there would be tests..etc done before the surgery for about LE800 [which they say would be deducted from the surgery cost at the end].

I have done it, and it was like 8 years ago and I paid like 4000LE. I can tell you the place.
