Reading Mamasue's comment on the Skin thread reminded me of an item on the news this week.

Face transplants.

If your face was really badly burned would you consider a face transplant?
Keeping in mind the donor is dead.

like that French woman last year.

For me a definite No........no way.....no how, but strange I would not refuse an internal organ.

Why is that?

Hmmmmmmm [Confused]

I would say yes in your case [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

You can maybe be blessed with a copy of mine.... [Big Grin] [Big Grin] Then you just need a little work on your body to become nearly as perfect as me [Big Grin]

I would say yes, if I was in need of a new face and one was on offer I would definately opt in.

I really wouldn't cut my new nose off to spite somebody elses old face lol...

I think I would opt for either, knowing my luck though I would wind up with Shreks! or worse... Wayne Rooney's

I disagree that killing yourself should be an option if your face ever burnt off.

Simon Weston is a shining example of what can be achieved when overcoming the odds.

I met this wonderful man a few years ago and he is truly an inspiration to us all.

The result is not brilliant. AND you are walking around with a dead persons face on your moosh.......
