Dear everyone,

I have a question regarding a projector model Hitachi CP-S840A. I am looking for a bulb for it. Does anyone know where I could find something like this in Egypt?

In case this lamp exists, how much would it cost?

Go to Al-Ataba you will find all lamp kinds and shops there ,I am an electrical Engineer but I can not assure you that you are gonna find it,go and ask,if you do not find it there ,then forget about it ,you wont,I really do not have Hitachi catalogue so that I can tell you ,but go to Al-Ataba and ask they will tell you if it exists in Egypt or not and they will tell you where to find it ,if is does exist

Dzosser, thanks, but mmmm, it costs 200 Britsh pounds, I still hope that it is cheaper in Cairo.

No no particular place ,most of the shops there have a wide variety of lamps(commercial ,industrial,...)

but know this ,the lamp is so so so expensive and better get a new projector,you can get an excellent projector for about 3000LE in Egypt(Epison with remote control ,this is the version I have in my university ,3 years ago it was about 10000,now it is 3000 only)
good luck,but I really suggest you get a new one
