What did you find strange when you arrived first in country??

I remember my guestfather was driving all over the lanes when he brought me home from the airport. It was in the morning hours and I was so exhausted from the flight (my first one!!) but scared. At lunch I woke up not from honking cars but from "hee haws" made by a donkey. WTH.... where am I????? [Eek!]

My life in Egypt would continue like that. Always strange things to witness, I never really accepted them but got more used to them in time. Da masr!! [Big Grin]
