My husband never leaves the home or ends the phone conversation without asking me this question. The same when he is talking to his mother, sister and younger brother.
Is this kind of caring something normal/expected in Egyptian family? It is for sure something I haven't seen much in the West ...

When I was first with my partner and he was working away from his home, he used to say that to me or tell me if I needed anything to contact his brother.As he was in Egypt and I was here I don't know actually how they could help!

I get this all the time from my husband, his family and his friends, its lovely and shows they care enough to make sure I have everything I need to make me happy
