Different traits are available in all cultures.. The only thing that differ is how these traits are A) in some cultures suppressed or liberated more than in others, as Adam G originally posted, and ...
B) if individual is what he claims he is, would he act consistently across the Nations or Cultures, or would he swing in direction of the wind?
The key questions are, if individual is in one society 1) can he do this freely? 2) would he do it if there are no consequences ? If he 1) can 2) but would not do it - it tells you something about him. If he 1) can NOT 2) and he would not, it tells you something else about him. If he 1) can NOT 2) but does it anyway, this also tells you something. If he 1) can 2) and does it, it also tells you something.
