Oh cool, so much snow!! Unfortunately we had snow only for a couple of days and now we are back to freezing temperatures outside with nothing to do. I am hoping though we'll have at least this year a white Christmas!
Pininah, I wish you a wonderful stay in Egypt.

The snow came back yesterday. It's nice and sunny. I feel sorry for the people in the Borders who have had no central heating due to a gas problem. How cold must they be . More forecast for Thursday.

Hence I wish we would have nice fluffy snow. Unfortunately it started yesterday to rain and then over night everything froze so you can imagine what's like to walk on there now.

I would be happy for a little snow...all it takes is 1/2 inch here in the Atlanta area to shut down the entire city! Wooo Hoooo I'd get a free day off work and could stay home and play on the internet....as long as the power stayed on!
Today is 58....bah...not good for December...I wanna see some snow for a change!

The traditional Russian winter with snow and severe frost is gone forever, meteorologists say. Moscow currently faces the deficit which it had never had before, even under the communist rule – the deficit of snow
The blanket of snow used to cover the vast Russian territory already in October. Moscow would normally get snow in October-November. This year is a hideous exception, though. There is not even a snowflake in the middle of December.
December temperatures in Moscow considerably exceed the norm, whereas December 3 and 4 were registered the warmest winter days in 130 years of meteorological observations.
