I live in Amsterdam, Netherlands and I miss some Egyptian products that I normally buy in Egypt. The problem is that I can't travel to Egypt more often than once or twice a year and unfortunately I am not a donkey to carry all I want to take with me . Is there any Egyptian living in NL or anyone else who knows where I can get karkadeh, tahina and nubian henna in NL, preferably in Amsterdam? shokran

Oh, I forgot the books by Naguib Mahfouz and other contemporary Egyptian writers in English or Dutch.

Thank you very much for your replies. I managed to find tahina in a turkish store, but it's not Egyptian, i think it's made in Holland by some Jewish company cause i saw 'kosher' written on it. It tastes ok, but not exactly as the Egyptian tahina. I still couldn't find karkadeh So I guess I gotta give Beverwijk a try, though I am not so fond of this market being a female, I just hate it when men stare at me. Fridaies, I live here permanently.
