your points are clear as far as Egypt's current population, but all indications show that the living Egyptians are very similar to the Ancient Egyptians, who were just as varied.Egyptian is not a racial term, but to me and many others, it means it is a Cultural Term.
The ancients, as well as the modern people of Egypt have always been open and hospitable to all those that adopted the Egyptian Culture and became Egyptians themselves.
Most of the people of Egypt, modern, and I would guess ancient never thought of themselves as anything other than Egyptian.
We are not trying to make ourselves into Europeans or white Nordics or any such thing, what we all want is to be identified as Egyptians First.
The mistake that many afrocentrics made and continue to make, is that they think that by shouting their messages across, will get the Egyptians and others to believe them, but such is not the case.
We have no hatred of Blacks or Whites, but many of us find it highly objectionable for some of those afrocentrics and others, to attach themselves to our culture and civilization, without any valid connection or even proximity to our ancestors.
Even the Nubians, who were very very close to the Ancient Egyptians, have never claimed that they're entitled to claim AE, as their heritage, so why should people who have almost zero connection to AE and Egypt, do the impossible??
No hard feelings, but this whole Afrocentric Movement is based on a False Premise, that is not True!!
