There are a few abstracts on Egypt and Medjay in this link, could you please further explain what they meant?

The abstracts are talking and trade relations between the eastern Desert and ancient Egypt. The Medijay were a police force that also served as mercenaries and guards for tombs across Egypt. Medijay are the Blemmeyes of Greco-Roman texts,and also the Trogadytes of the Periplus[a Greek sailor guidebook]. I have always thought the people with no heads were southern Sudanese tribes.
