Thanks for the live365 link. I listen to live365 at work all the time. One of my favorite presets there is http://www.live365.com/stations/toonsee I guess it wouldn't be considered strictly arabic but there's lots of good stuff that gets played.

www.videoarab.com allows you to download video clips and it has a forum section for lyrics. Some of which are transliterated Arabic into English.

Hi, my name is Avery. I am new here. Thought you may want to check out this rock band called Dendura (named after Hathors Temple in Luxor Egypt) since their singer is middle eastern (Egyptian and Lebanese). The music and artwork has an Egyptian sound (hear Isis) or a haunting sound. Check them out when you have a chance. www.myspace.com/denduraband
I on the other hand am from Detroit, Michigan and am very interested in hearing some more middle eastern metal or rock bands. Any suggestions?
The music scene in the Middle East is somewhat funny...I have not come across any rockers from there to be honest. They seem to be mostly into arabic pop and love songs - celine dion and enrique iglesias for some strange reason...and the local musicians are very "soft".

www.nogomi.com i don't know if you have to have an IP address from Egypt or not. but, in case that you do, i have already downloaded the video if you would like it. the video is not that good though, in my opinion. it's from some movie that i didn't see. i like the song, but the video doesn't add anything to it. but, if you want it, let me know.
