Egyptian actor Adel Imam will be returning to the silver screen soon with a new TV series entitled 'Al Araab' or The Godfather.
The series is set for 2011 and will bring back Adel imam to our TV screens after an absence of around 30 years! Yes! It was 30 years ago that he starred in the TV series 'Dumou3 fi 3uyoun Waki7a'.
As for the 60 Million EGP, that's not what Adel Imam will be paid! But it's the budget for the series itself. The latest in filming technology and state of the art cameras and equipment will be used.
The series will be about everyday issues that we all face, presented in a funny and comedic way. It will also handle issues faced by the Egyptian society.
The scenario is still in the works, so the beginning of the filming is still vague.
Are you looking forward to seeing Al Zaeem on your TV screen again? This series is sure to be a good one; big budget, state of the art equipment and Adel Imam!
Another Marlon Brando or not?? Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a comedy!!
