At the movies they show more explicit trailers as the premiere approaches. The animation looks flawless, like with District 9. I was discussing the Bruce Willis movie Surrogates with all these avatarlike robots, with a woman who works at the cinema and she tried to explain to me that Avatar was more chilling. I saw it as more over the top, while surrogates was more subtle, in a way. The Bruce Willis pic really reminded me of the now and here where we already hide behind avatars, and live a lie about our selves.

The trailer looks fascinating. I was looking for a different movie that time (same title: avatar the last air bender) and bump in with this movie. I read some good reviews and anticipation about it, so I think I'll watch it on december 18. One thing, the font style of the title is similar with the cartoon avatar. Should the word "avatar" always be written that way?
