Machete is not a bad movie, quite entertaining, but it does not take itself seriously. Not a Tarantino to be sure. Illegal Mexicans fighting back. The enemies are off course the vigilante’s who patrol the border. But also a corrupt politician financed by a drugs baron who WANTS a electric fence at the Mexican border so HE can control the flow of people, drugs and weapons across the border. But it’s horrible how Americans countenance this slavery. They all seem to employ them, but vote against legalisation. Plenty of nude women but no actual sex on view, as one would expect from this format.

Notice how they play on the dumb racist white Texan being the usual bad guy, and hypocrite wanting to build an electric fence around Texas to stop illegals while having his strings being pulled by a Mexican drug lord? Just like real life.
