Buffy has to be one of the best written show on television ... and to see the entire first season on DVD is huge! Unfortunately, it suffers from proper name, people tend not to give him a chance he deserves. Believe me ... this is definitely one to check! It is rare to see such talented actors cast in a cleverly scripted story. Congratulations to the creator, Joss Whedon to make his Hollywood movie sloppy and converting it into the serious drama /thriller / action / comedy, that he intended to stay. That’s where everything starts. I can not say that the first season is the best of Buffy, but it’s certainly better than most shows out there. From the first episode, BTVS showed a steady increase in the intrigue and drama, while keeping a light touch. You can see the cast gel together ... and since the first season is over, you’ll find yourself wanting more. The moral of this story: Give the show a chance! After watching a few episodes of season one, most people, even pleasantly surprised. Not hooked ... but pleasantly surprised.
