An eerie music video released Thursday shows late rapper XXXTentacion attending his own funeral.
The video for "SAD!" was released just over a week after the 20-year-old was shot and killed in South Florida.
In the video, XXXTentacion walks into a church filled with people and goes up to the altar, where he looks into an open casket and sees himself dead. The rapper, who wrote and served as creative director for the video, leans over the casket in silence before his corpse reaches up and grabs him by the throat.
By Friday morning, the video had amassed more than 28 million views.
Authorities are also seeking a person of interest, Robert Allen, to find out what the he knows about the murder.
A memorial was held for XXXTentacion on Wednesday at the BB&T Center, the home of the Florida Panthers. Hundreds of fans lined up to pay tribute to the rapper, including some who drove through the night to make it to the event and offer one final goodbye to the entertainer on the brink of superstardom, according to Page Six.
XXXTentacion also spoke of his death in a prophetic Instagram video posted several months before he was killed. The clip, which resurfaced after his fatal shooting, features the rapper pondering his legacy.
“Worst thing comes to worse, I f***ing die a tragic death or some s*** and I’m not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and able to take my message and use it and turn it into something positive and to at least have a good life,” he says in the undated video.
