It would be nice if some of these metal bands from Botswana had content available on iTunes. I know rock music can trace its roots to African-American musical traditions (and ultimately those of West and Central Africa) if you go far back enough, but the metal scene nowadays seems as dominated by white men and women as hip-hop and R&B are by musicians of color (one of the dudes from Pantera is even on record as shouting "white power" at a concert back in early 2016). Mind you, good music is good music no matter who produces it, but I'd love to hear some metal stuff influenced by African (or other non-Western) cultural traditions.
