All over the world there are people who in one or another way want to relate to the Bible and itīs iconic figures.
An example of that is a series of photos taken by African American photo artist James C. Lewis where he depicts famous biblical persons as black.
James C. Lewis has earlier made photo exhibitions about African gods and African historical persons.
Here is his take on king Salomo, a bit over the top according to my taste.
His Bathsheba looks rather nice though, at least aesthetically
