A new movie has gained a lot of attention. Itīs name is Killers of the Flower Moon and it is about how white Americans in the 1920s tried to take over land that belonged to the Native American Osage people. Oil had been found on the Osage lands in Oklahoma. With the help of intermarriage, murder, theft and fraud, the whites try to get their hands on the land of the Osages. In the end, the predecessors of the FBI are called in to solve the many murders that are connected with the land theft and unravel all the crimes committed against the Native Americans.
The film is directed by Martin Scorcese and in the leading roles we see, among others, Robert de Niro, Leonardo di Caprio and Lily Gladstone.
