well i went to the vietnam grocery store and bought a cute bamboo in water and rocks.can someone plz help me try to figure out how to care for it. i have been reding up but i dont understand. i seen bamboo grow in just water and ricks. or do i need soil? what food do i need or do i need any?here is a pic of my new friend.

I had a lovely one sitting on my desk at work for years.I left it just the way it came with green colored pebbles,just make sure those remain watered all the time.
Mine didnt get any sun at all,in fact it kinda thrived in the cool AC environment.The moment they started changing the desks around,the poor bamboo didnt adjust to its new setting and started to dry out.
