Of course not, even if this study proves to be valid. the origin of really light skin has already been proven to be relatively recent.
Also the window of possible admixture is very small, fragemented, and scattered... meaning there was no extensive, important, or positive geneflow. Non-Africans who do carry any relic of Neanderthal ancestry don't benefit for it, nto mention that only some Non-Africans have such relics.

The Neanderthal genes are also supposed to be shared by Papuan New Guineans. I would not be surprised in this regard that--if the hypothesis is indeed valid--that the Andaman Islanders also carry them.
But here's the thing: if all this new fuss about 1-4% of Neanderthal genes warrant a lot of bandwidth chatter then what about the African genes in Europe's modern populations?

One noteworthy implication of this sudden white gushing over the Neanderthals is that they provide evidence that refutes the theory that Europeans are more "intelligent" than Africans and their derivatives in the U.S. and Europe is that the Eurasian environment was more "cognitively challenging", hence a more evolved version of humanity was the result.

And who are and are not Negroes? Problem with IQ tests is that they exclude a lot of people that should be considered Negroes. Modern Technology? Technology happens because of the trade of ideas. Who ever militarily controls trade routes is in the best position to assimilate ideas. It really has more to do with population density, food source, climate and pure luck. Technology and economy are related to each other.

I dont want to Lord over anyone, nor should any serious pan African. What we need to do is start communities in Africa, taking the skills we have here in America. Yes, simply because you'd have to test all non African populations with a significant sample size, not just one out of a few to come to such a conclusion.
