Now I have seen the cone before on Babylonian wall sculpture but paid little attention to it along with the intertwining snakes, and naturally I took a look at Kemet to see if it presents it self there also, and yes as a matter of fact cones are found all over the place from temples shaped cones in India and the Vatican to the common ice cream cones we have it in plain sight, but does this sprang from one source and was diffused over a large geographical area/space and time,Or multiple cultures arrived at the same ideas and conclusions.

Monotheism always been a false concept used by Abrahamic religions practitioners (religious imperialists) to hide their own intolerance towards other people's Gods (among themselves in Israel/Rome then other people/nations ancestral Gods).
95% of the known world religions believe in the existence of one creator god. Ancestral religions as in contemporary Africa and Ancient Kemet, as well as the Ancient Greek, Rome, Aztec, Shinto, Aztec, etc always believed in one creator god who can have as many names as they are people on earth. Each people have their own path and knowledge of God through their ancestors.
Other gods, deities and deified ancestors are more analogous in some way to prophets, angels and saints in Abrahamic religions. Obviously they are major differences too (since Abrahamic religions are conversion type of religions (very rare) not initiation type of religions (as most religions)).
What characterize Abrahamic religions from that angle is their intolerance towards other people's religions.
Most of the great civilizations of this world like the Rome Republic and Empire, the Ancient Greek civilization, Aztec, Ancient Kemet, Great Zimbabwe, Chinese, Celtic etc were built with ancestral religions as their main religious foundation.
A case can be made that the imposition of Christianity in the Late Roman period by Constantine led to its downfall and the subsequent Middle Ages. Only the abandonment of Christianity by the use of science actually led Europe to the path toward development. In the Middle Ages you could get burned for saying earth was round or was not at the center of the universe.
In Ancient Kemet, no matter what the name you give to him (Horus, Ra, Amun, Amun-Ra, etc) they always believed in one creator god, usually self-created, who created directly or indirectly the universe, earth, humans, other gods and deified ancestors, etc.

True....they believed in One Creator, with the other deities actually being attributes of the One, so to speak...(e.g., Amen is/being the hidden/unknowable aspect of the Creator)

This thread takes a look at first contacts between Americans and Japanese including African Americans, this however is not to suggest that this was the first contact between blacks of what ever regions and Japan for indeed such contact would be pushed back into pre history with the Black Islanders of the area, and I suspect Blacks amongst the Mongols tool part in the invasion of Western Japan as shown below, this silk screen print is in the Fukouka Museum.

Mayan Secrets To Be Revealed By Mexican Government In '2012' Doc
The Mexican government is releasing state-held secrets about the end of the Mayan calendar to the makers of a documentary, "Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond," TheWrap has learned.
The information -- protected for 80 years -- is expected to reveal Mayan beliefs in future catastrophes and wisdom characterized as "shocking," producer Raul Julia-Levy, son of actor Raul Julia, told TheWrap.
The end of the Mayan calendar in December 2012 has long given rise to theories and speculation about the end of the world.
The agreement will allow Julia-Levy to film in never-before-seen locations.
"The Mayans used to construct one pyramid over another," tourism minister for the Mexican state of Campeche Luis Augusto Garcia Rosado told TheWrap. "In the site at Calakmul (pictured below right), workers for INAH [the National Institute of Anthropology and History] have discovered rooms inside the pyramid that have never been seen or explored before.
"And we're letting this documentary film there, to see what has been discovered inside the pyramid."
Julia-Levy (above) said he'd been made aware of the secret Mayan information by former Mexican president Vicente Fox -- a friend of his family -- and that it took four years of phone calls to finally get the OK from current president Felipe Calderon.
"This is very important for humanity, not just for Mexico," said Julia-Levy. "This information has been protected for 80 years, and now it's important for people to understand the series of events that are coming, and the consequences for all of us."

Remembering Black Atheist From History ! This article is in The Root. I have noticed a more vocal out pouring of Black atheist/ agnostic coming out of the closet so to speak, over the past year or so. Personally I think it is a good thing & healthy .It made me wonder how many on ESR are in this camp ? What are your feeling about this subject. I have a core belief that African peoples are highly spiritual & in a way this has help many endure the hardships of slavery etc. Mind you I said spiritual, as opposed to religious !

They didn't say the world will end nor did they asked for money but if true about what they claim they have then it's a big deal as all this talk about ancient aliens will be disclosed by a government.

NEARLY 2,000 years ago, York was the most important place in the western hemisphere. The Roman Emperor had taken up residence and thousands of social climbers from all corners of the empire flocked to the city to be part of the scene.
The man attracting all the fuss was Septimius Severus, the first black citizen to hold Rome’s highest office. For the final three years of his reign, he made York his home and brought to the city a cosmopolitan period of culture, fashion and importance that has not been matched since.
Before Severus arrived, most residents had not seen anyone from the next province, never mind Syria or Mesopotamia; yet almost overnight, their city was filled with every known nationality.
The emperor’s striking looks, tight curly hair and straggly beard were said to have wowed everyone. Severus was also a dab hand at promoting his wife, Julia Domna, and while most in York had seen their faces on coins, now they were here in person – and everyone wanted to look like them.

He was of Italian Roman ancestry on his mother's side and of Punic or Libyan-Punic ancestry on his father's.

The Punics (from Latin pūnicus) were a group of western Semitic-speaking peoples from Carthage in North Africa who traced their origins to a group of Phoenician settlers, but also to North African Berbers.
this necessarily = "black" ? Mulatto or quadroon at best, didn't even have kinky hair

If you put the same brown shade on the statue you get somebody that looks like any number of brown people of the world. This shade alone could be anybody from Syrian to a Sicilian to an indigenous African. But the man's father was African however and in Africa live his father who was Libyan-Punic. This means his father was of people living in Africa but it is not known what amount of his Libyan-Punic ancestry was black African. His mother was Italian. A fair guess might be that he was mixed, perhaps a quadroon. His ethnicity is uncertain and the Jim Crow one drop rule is garbage. It's not an honest statement to say he was Black or even that his father was Black. That's wishful thinking. He is what he is , what we know about him, half Italian, half Libyan-Punic

This jackass already claims "black" isn't a scientific term (i.e. it's subjective, based on the viewer) yet here he is arguing with Anansi over it's "correct" application. LOL

LONDON (Reuters) - In turning one of its best-known hackers into an informant and breaking open the highest profile elements of the "Anonymous" movement, authorities have dealt a serious blow to a group they found a growing irritant. But as the broader "Anonymous" label - complete with its iconic Guy Fawkes mask imagery - is used by ever more disparate causes worldwide, it may be all but impossible to shut it down for good. U.S. authorities revealed on Wednesday that leading Anonymous hacker "Sabu" - real name Hector Xavier Monsegur, aged 28 - had been arrested last June in his apartment in a Manhattan housing complex. According to a newly released court transcript, he agreed to cooperate with authorities in return for likely leniency - helping U.S. prosecutors bring charges against five more men, including two in Britain and two in Ireland. All had also been previously arrested. "Sabu was seen as a leader," said Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer of Finnish security firm f-secure. "Just yesterday people were looking up to him... it's a very serious blow. It's probably not going to be the end of Anonymous but it's going to take a while for them to recover, particularly from

THE book is a chequered and prismatic compilation of illustrated writings by specialists in history, numismatics, architecture and art history of South Asia. In a country given to varying shades from light to dark skin tones, identifying an African is no simple a task. With dominant cross-cultural influences, identification of an African Muslim from that of an Indian Muslim is equally challenging. The presence of Sub-Saharan Africans in India is unique, for nowhere in the world a handful of Sub - Saharan Africans ruled over non-African population for so long. References to African elites are available as early as 14th century as reported by the Arab traveller Ibn Battuta. Read more:
Although his book is interesting, his eurocentric context is very incorrect. He states in the video that Africans didn't rule over anyone else anywhere in history, well he is a liar, or stupid, not sure which.
1. Egypt ruled over much of the middle east and parts of turkiye. I have even read they extended even further than that.
2. Habasha/Aksum ruled over the middle east for at the very least 500 years and some say even longer. The Quran speaks of this time period in Surat Al Fil.
3. The first set of moors to rule Europe and take European slaves were Africans. The Arabs didn't come until 700 years after the fact.
4. We know Mesopotamia/Elam were Africans most likely kushitic from the language being spoken. Can refer to Rawlinsons' book "memoirs of cuneiform" to further understand what was going on at that time
This guy is the prime example of what Dr. Obenga talked about. We can not trust these people to tell African history. They will tell it from their perspective, which is a very non factual perspective. Even in this video, when he first claims Africans came as traders etc. then he changes his tale to now magically they came as slaves and then some how miraculously became rulers and I call B.S. They word sidi means lord. You do not call a slave a lord! These people and their revisionist history is laughable. I just hope that one day, someone of the Diaspora or from the continent uses this as a stepping stone to further the truth of the matter.
The same needs to be done with Moorish history as well. Someone who knows Spanish inside and out needs to do research on who the moors were and their origin and write their tale. It would also be a good idea to look at the enslavement of Europeans at that time. Will help those who do not know history well to understand, Africans took white and Arab slaves long before the African became a slave. Once you understand this narrative, what happens later in history will become more understandable.
