There are different types of learning styles. Educational settings and tests that focus on one style disadvantage those that follow a stylistically different style. It is not an objective measure of cognitive processes overall.

If Africans have the greatest genetic diversity than the rest of humanity combined according to Tishkoff etal then this diversity could also be in their CNS,If it is difficult to design T cell vaccines for African populations because of the diversity of their MHC which is just as complex as the CNS then it must be difficult to design an I.Q. test for African populations.

Asians ranked highly by white standards often encourage for example, similar learning styles and educational structure to whites and are even more rigorous in implementation than Euros are.

Asian American students will outnumber white classmates for the first time in the freshman class at the region's most prestigious public magnet school this fall, a milestone reached as the number of African Americans and Hispanics has remained low and the Fairfax County School Board prepares to review the school's admission policy.
At Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in the Alexandria area this year, more than 2,500 applicants vied for 485 seats. Asian American students got 219, or 45 percent of the total, while white students got 205, or 42 percent. About 38 percent of the school's students were Asian American in the past school year.
T.J., as the school is known, draws students from several Northern Virginia jurisdictions. It ranks among the nation's top public schools in some surveys because of its rigorous curriculum and high-achieving students. Its average combined SAT score in 2007 was 2155, compared with 1639 countywide. More than 150 of its students that year were semifinalists for National Merit scholarships.
A plurality of Asian American students in a high school class would be an anomaly in the Washington region, where fewer than one in 10 residents is Asian American. In Fairfax, which supplies most of the school's students, people of Asian descent account for 16 percent of the population, census data show. That percentage has doubled since 1990 and is the highest in the area.
Among the incoming T.J. freshmen is Yuqing Zhang. Born in China, Yuqing immigrated with his family a decade ago, when his parents came to the United States for graduate school. He began learning math as a toddler from his grandmother and has excelled throughout school. As an eighth-grader at Longfellow Middle School in the Falls Church area, he took geometry and a class that combines high-level algebra and trigonometry. He placed 30th in a national math competition.
Yuqing, 14, said he has heard that T.J. is very competitive but added that he looks forward to focusing on his favorite subjects, math and science. The school is appealing, he said, because it "makes you do the best," and its students "model a good work ethic."
The rising concentration of Asian Americans at T.J. mirrors demographic trends in other elite math and science magnet schools. In New York, the selective and specialized Stuyvesant High School, Bronx High School of Science and Brooklyn Technical High School have Asian American majorities, although about 10 percent of the metropolitan population is of Asian descent. In San Francisco, Asian Americans make up more than 60 percent of the students at selective Lowell High School and about a third of the city's population.
The success of Asian American students reflects the educational commitment found in many immigrant communities, particularly for second-generation students fluent in English and encouraged by upwardly mobile parents who came to the United States for higher education or professional positions.
The demographic imbalance in top public magnet schools has become a sensitive issue, however...
Jenny Tsai, a recent Harvard University graduate, wrote her thesis about what she perceived as a growing sentiment that "too many Asians" were at top magnet schools. She attended the selective Hunter College High School in New York, where she sensed "a certain level of anxiety" as the portion of Asian American students in the entering class grew from less than a third to more than half between 1997 and 2003. Tsai said some students felt a need to justify their admission or their contributions.
"I don't think there was ever a question of who really belonged there until the numbers shifted," she said.
Admissions offices at top private colleges are becoming the front line for debates about equal access as the supply of high-caliber Asian American applicants swells and colleges try to maintain student diversity. According to Tsai's research, which included interviews and surveys, the much touted magnet schools were set up for, and catered mostly to whites. It is only when Asians started beating whites out of admission slots that they became a "problem": Quote:

I don't think our parents are as uptight as if my kids went to Monta Vista." 113 Mr. Rowley, the district superintendent, admitted that "Kids who are white feel themselves a distinct minority against a majority culture." 114 Mr. Rowley chose not send his own son to Monta Vista High School. The Asian students were viewed to be the cause of the heightened pressure and stress at the school. One former student at Monta Vista High School, George Chen, said: “Monta Vista was viewed as being very stressful because of all the Asian students, who fought to be in the AP classes…There was always that perception that the Asian American students were the cause of the stress as well as the reason why the school wasn’t good in something like athletics.”

In Silicon Valley, two high schools with outstanding academic reputations are losing white students as Asian students move in. Why?

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- By most measures, Monta Vista High here and Lynbrook High, in nearby San Jose, are among the nation's top public high schools. Both boast stellar test scores, an array of advanced-placement classes and a track record of sending graduates from the affluent suburbs of Silicon Valley to prestigious colleges.
But locally, they're also known for something else: white flight. Over the past 10 years, the proportion of white students at Lynbrook has fallen by nearly half, to 25% of the student body. At Monta Vista, white students make up less than one-third of the population, down from 45% -- this in a town that's half white. Some white Cupertino parents are instead sending their children to private schools or moving them to other, whiter public schools. More commonly, young white families in Silicon Valley say they are avoiding Cupertino altogether.
White students are far outnumbered by Asians at Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, Calif. Whites aren't quitting the schools because the schools are failing academically. Quite the contrary: Many white parents say they're leaving because the schools are too academically driven and too narrowly invested in subjects such as math and science at the expense of liberal arts and extracurriculars like sports and other personal interests.
The two schools, put another way that parents rarely articulate so bluntly, are too Asian.
Cathy Gatley, co-president of Monta Vista High School's parent-teacher association, recently dissuaded a family with a young child from moving to Cupertino because there are so few young white kids left in the public schools. "This may not sound good," she confides, "but their child may be the only Caucasian kid in the class." All of Ms. Gatley's four children have attended or are currently attending Monta Vista. One son, Andrew, 17 years old, took the high-school exit exam last summer and left the school to avoid the academic pressure. He is currently working in a pet-supply store. Ms. Gatley, who is white, says she probably wouldn't have moved to Cupertino if she had anticipated how much it would change.
In the 1960s, the term "white flight" emerged to describe the rapid exodus of whites from big cities into the suburbs, a process that often resulted in the economic degradation of the remaining community. Back then, the phenomenon was mostly believed to be sparked by the growth in the population of African-Americans, and to a lesser degree Hispanics, in some major cities.
But this modern incarnation is different. Across the country, Asian-Americans have by and large been successful and accepted into middle- and upper-class communities. Silicon Valley has kept Cupertino's economy stable, and the town is almost indistinguishable from many of the suburbs around it. The shrinking number of white students hasn't hurt the academic standards of Cupertino's schools -- in fact the opposite is true.
This time the effect is more subtle: Some Asians believe that the resulting lack of diversity creates an atmosphere that is too sheltering for their children, leaving then unprepared for life in a country that is only 4% Asian overall. Moreover, many Asians share some of their white counterpart's concerns. Both groups finger newer Asian immigrants for the schools' intense competitiveness.
Some whites fear that by avoiding schools with large Asian populations parents are short-changing their own children, giving them the idea that they can't compete with Asian kids. "My parents never let me think that because I'm Caucasian, I'm not going to succeed," says Jessie Hogin, a white Monta Vista graduate.
The white exodus clearly involves race-based presumptions, not all of which are positive. One example: Asian parents are too competitive. That sounds like racism to many of Cupertino's Asian residents, who resent the fact that their growing numbers and success are causing many white families to boycott the town altogether.
"It's a stereotype of Asian parents," says Pei-Pei Yow, a Hewlett-Packard Co. manager and Chinese-American community leader who sent two kids to Monta Vista. It's like other familiar biases, she says: "You can't say everybody from the South is a redneck."
Jane Doherty, a retirement-community administrator, chose to send her two boys elsewhere. When her family moved to Cupertino from Indiana over a decade ago, Ms. Doherty says her top priority was moving into a good public-school district. She paid no heed to a real-estate agent who told her of the town's burgeoning Asian population.
She says she began to reconsider after her elder son, Matthew, entered Kennedy, the middle school that feeds Monta Vista. As he played soccer, Ms. Doherty watched a line of cars across the street deposit Asian kids for after-school study. She also attended a Monta Vista parents' night and came away worrying about the school's focus on test scores and the big-name colleges its graduates attend.
"My sense is that at Monta Vista you're competing against the child beside you," she says. Ms. Doherty says she believes the issue stems more from recent immigrants than Asians as a whole. "Obviously, the concentration of Asian students is really high, and it does flavor the school," she says.
When Matthew, now a student at Notre Dame, finished middle school eight years ago, Ms. Doherty decided to send him to Bellarmine College Preparatory, a Jesuit school that she says has a culture that "values the whole child." It's also 55% white and 24% Asian. Her younger son, Kevin, followed suit.
Kevin Doherty, 17, says he's happy his mother made the switch. Many of his old friends at Kennedy aren't happy at Monta Vista, he says. "Kids at Bellarmine have a lot of pressure to do well, too, but they want to learn and do something they want to do."
While California has seen the most pronounced cases of suburban segregation, some of the developments in Cupertino are also starting to surface in other parts of the U.S. At Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Md., known flippantly to some locals as "Won Ton," roughly 35% of students are of Asian descent. People who don't know the school tend to make assumptions about its academics, says Principal Michael Doran. "Certain stereotypes come to mind -- 'those people are good at math,' " he says.
In Tenafly, N.J., a well-to-do bedroom community near New York, the local high school says it expects Asian students to make up about 36% of its total in the next five years, compared with 27% today. The district still attracts families of all backgrounds, but Asians are particularly intent that their kids work hard and excel, says Anat Eisenberg, a local Coldwell Banker real-estate agent. "Everybody is caught into this process of driving their kids." Lawrence Mayer, Tenafly High's vice principal, says he's never heard such concerns.
Perched on the western end of the Santa Clara valley, Cupertino was for many years a primarily rural area known for its many fruit orchards. The beginnings of the tech industry brought suburbanization, and Cupertino then became a very white, quintessentially middle-class town of mostly modest ranch homes, populated by engineers and their families. Apple Computer Inc. planted its headquarters there.
As the high-tech industry prospered, so did Cupertino. Today, the orchards are a memory, replaced by numerous shopping malls and subdivisions that are home to Silicon Valley's prosperous upper-middle class. While the architecture in Cupertino is largely the same as in neighboring communities, the town of about 50,000 people now boasts Indian restaurants, tutoring centers and Asian grocers. Parents say Cupertino's top schools have become more academically intense over the past 10 years. Asian immigrants have surged into the town, granting it a reputation -- particularly among recent Chinese and South Asian immigrants -- as a Bay Area locale of choice. Cupertino is now 41% Asian, up from 24% in 1998.
Some students struggle in Cupertino's high schools who might not elsewhere. Monta Vista's Academic Performance Index, which compares the academic performance of California's schools, reached an all-time high of 924 out of 1,000 this year, making it one of the highest-scoring high schools in Northern California. Grades are so high that a 'B' average puts a student in the bottom third of a class.
"We have great students, which has a lot of upsides," says April Scott, Monta Vista's principal. "The downside is what the kids with a 3.0 GPA think of themselves."
Ms. Scott and her counterpart at Lynbrook know what's said about their schools being too competitive and dominated by Asians. "It's easy to buy into those kinds of comments because they're loaded and powerful," says Ms. Scott, who adds that they paint an inaccurate picture of Monta Vista. Ms. Scott says many athletic programs are thriving and points to the school's many extracurricular activities. She also points out that white students represented 20% of the school's 29 National Merit Semifinalists this year.
Judy Hogin, Jessie's mother and a Cupertino real-estate agent, believes the school was good for her daughter, who is now a freshman at the University of California at San Diego. "I know it's frustrating to some people who have moved away," says Ms. Hogin, who is white. Jessie, she says, "rose to the challenge."
On a recent autumn day at Lynbrook, crowds of students spilled out of classrooms for midmorning break. Against a sea of Asian faces, the few white students were easy to pick out. One boy sat on a wall, his lighter hair and skin making him stand out from dozens of others around him. In another corner, four white male students lounged at a picnic table.
At Cupertino's top schools, administrators, parents and students say white students end up in the stereotyped role often applied to other minority groups: the underachievers. In one 9th-grade algebra class, Lynbrook's lowest-level math class, the students are an eclectic mix of whites, Asians and other racial and ethnic groups.
"Take a good look," whispered Steve Rowley, superintendent of the Fremont Union High School District, which covers the city of Cupertino as well as portions of other neighboring cities. "This doesn't look like the other classes we're going to." On the second floor, in advanced-placement chemistry, only a couple of the 32 students are white and the rest are Asian. Some white parents, and even some students, say they suspect teachers don't take white kids as seriously as Asians. "Many of my Asian friends were convinced that if you were Asian, you had to confirm you were smart. If you were white, you had to prove it," says Arar Han, a Monta Vista graduate who recently co-edited "Asian American X," a book of coming-of-age essays by young Asian-Americans.
Ms. Gatley, the Monta Vista PTA president, is more blunt: "White kids are thought of as the dumb kids," she says. Cupertino's administrators and faculty, the majority of whom are white, adamantly say there's no discrimination against whites. The administrators say students of all races get along well. In fact, there's little evidence of any overt racial tension between students or between their parents.
Mr. Rowley, the school superintendent, however, concedes that a perception exists that's sometimes called "the white-boy syndrome." He describes it as: "Kids who are white feel themselves a distinct minority against a majority culture." Mr. Rowley, who is white, enrolled his only son, Eddie, at Lynbrook. When Eddie started freshman geometry, the boy was frustrated to learn that many of the Asian students in his class had already taken the course in summer school, Mr. Rowley recalls. That gave them a big leg up.
To many of Cupertino's Asians, some of the assumptions made by white parents -- that Asians are excessively competitive and single-minded -- play into stereotypes. Top schools in nearby, whiter Palo Alto, which also have very high test scores, also feature heavy course loads, long hours of homework and overly stressed students, says Denise Pope, director of Stressed Out Students, a Stanford University program that has worked with schools in both Palo Alto and Cupertino. But whites don't seem to be avoiding those institutions, or making the same negative generalizations, Asian families note, suggesting that it's not academic competition that makes white parents uncomfortable but academic competition with Asian-Americans.
Some of Cupertino's Asian residents say they don't blame white families for leaving. After all, many of the town's Asians are fretting about the same issues. While acknowledging that the term Asian embraces a wide diversity of countries, cultures and languages, they say there's some truth to the criticisms levied against new immigrant parents, particularly those from countries such as China and India, who often put a lot of academic pressure on their children.
Some parents and students say these various forces are creating an unhealthy cultural isolation in the schools. Monta Vista graduate Mark Seto says he wouldn't send his kids to his alma mater. "It was a sheltered little world that didn't bear a whole lot of resemblance to what the rest of the country is like," says Mr. Seto, a Chinese-American who recently graduated from Yale University. As a result, he says, "college wasn't an academic adjustment. It was a cultural adjustment." Hung Wei, a Chinese-American living in Cupertino, has become an active campaigner in the community, encouraging Asian parents to be more aware of their children's emotional development. Ms. Wei, who is co-president of Monta Vista's PTA with Ms. Gatley, says her activism stems from the suicide of her daughter, Diana. Ms. Wei says life in Cupertino and at Monta Vista didn't prepare the young woman for life at New York University. Diana moved there in 2004 and jumped to her death from a Manhattan building two months later.
"We emphasize academics so much and protect our kids, I feel there's something lacking in our education," Ms. Wei says. Cupertino schools are trying to address some of these issues. Monta Vista recently completed a series of seminars focused on such issues as helping parents communicate better with their kids, and Lynbrook last year revised its homework guidelines with the goal of eliminating excessive and unproductive assignments.
The moves haven't stemmed the flow of whites out of the schools. Four years ago, Lynn Rosener, a software consultant, transferred her elder son from Monta Vista to Homestead High, a Cupertino school with slightly lower test scores. At the new school, the white student body is declining at a slower rate than at Monta Vista and currently stands at 52% of the total. Friday-night football is a tradition, with big half-time shows and usually 1,000 people packing the stands. The school offers boys' volleyball, a sport at which Ms. Rosener's son was particularly talented. Monta Vista doesn't.

African immigrants show superior educational performance compared to other groups

"African-born blacks comprise about 16 percent of the U.S. foreign-born black population (U.S. Bureau of the Census, 2000), and are “considerably” more educated than other immigrants. The vast majority of these immigrants come from minority white countries in East and West Africa (e.g. Kenya and Nigeria). While less than 2 percent originate from North or South Africa (CIA World Factbook, 2004; Yearbook of immigration Statistics, 2003). An analysis of Census Bureau data by The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education (1999-2000) and the “Lewis Mumford Center for Comparative Urban and Regional Research” (2003) find that Black African immigrants to the United States are more likely to be college educated than ‘any’ other immigrant group, which included those from Europe, North America and Asia (see also Nisbett, 2002; U.S. Bureau of the Census, 2000). African immigrants have also been shown to be more highly educated than any native-born ethnic group including white and Asian Americans (Logan & Deane, 2003; Williams, 2005; The Economist, 1996; Arthur, 2000; Selassie, 1998; Nisbett, 2002).
Most research suggests that between 43.8 and 49.3 percent of “all” African immigrants in the United States hold a college diploma (Nisbett, 2002; Charles, 2007; U.S. Census, 2000). This is slightly more than the percentage of Asian immigrants to the U.S., substantially greater than the percentage of European immigrants, nearly “double” that of native-born white Americans, nearly four times the rate of native-born African Americans, and more than “8 times” that of some Hispanic groups (Williams, 2005; Nisbett, 2002; Kent, 2007; The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, 1999-2000; U.S. Census, 2000)! Black immigrants from Africa have also been shown to have rates of college graduation that are “more” than double that of the U.S. born population, in general (Williams, 2005). For example, in 1997, 19.4 percent of all adult African immigrants in the United States held a “graduate degree”, compared to 8.1 percent of adult whites (a difference of “more than” double) and 3.8 percent of adult blacks in the United States, respectively (The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, 1999-2000). This shows that America has an equally large achievement gap between white Americans and African born immigrants as between native born white and black Americans.
In the UK, 1988, the Commission for Racial Equality conducted an investigation on the admissions practices of St. George's, and other medical colleges, who set aside a certain number of places for minority students. This informal quota system reflected the percentage of minorities in the general population. It was discovered that minority students with Chinese, Indian, or black African heritage had higher academic qualifications for university admission than did whites (Blacks in Britain from the West Indies had lower academic credentials than did whites). In fact, blacks with African origins over the age of 30 had the highest educational qualifications of any ethnic group in the British Isles (Cross, 1994). According to the 1991 British Census, 26.5 percent of black Britons who were born in Africa had at least some college education. In contrast, only 13.4 percent of white Britons had gone to college.Thus, the evidence pointed to the fact that minority quotas for university admissions were actually working against students from these ethnic groups who were on average more qualified for higher education than their white peers (Cross, 1994; Also see, Dustmann and Theodoropoulos, 2006).
Dustmann and Theodoropoulos (2006) provided the first thorough investigation of educational attainment and economic behavior of ethnic minority immigrants and their children in Britain. This study investigated how British born minorities performed in terms of education, employment and wages when compared to their parent’s generation, as well as to comparable groups of white natives using 27 years of “LFS data” (Labour Force Survey). In both generations Black Africans topped the list in both years of schooling/educational qualifications and wages/employment followed by Indian and Chinese immigrants. This study generally found a strong educational background for Britain’s ethnic minority immigrant population; with second generation ethnic minorities, ‘on average’, doing better than their parents, and “substantially better” than their white peers in most socio-economic indicators and outcomes.
Again, when comparing immigrants in the United States one quickly finds that the racialist models adopted by many Psychologists do not always predict outcomes in the way one might expect. For example, it has been shown that black immigrants born from Zimbabwe (96.7 percent), Botswana (95.5 percent) have high school graduation rates that far exceed all white immigrant and native born groups. While the average Nigerian immigrant (58.6 percent) living in the United States is “eight times” more likely to have obtained a bachelors degree than the average Portuguese born (7.3 percent) (Dixon D, 2006; Dixon D, 2005)!
The African born in the United States are concentrated in management or professional and sales or office-related occupations. Of the employed population age 16 and older in the civilian labor force, the African born are much more likely than the foreign born in general to work in management and professional occupations as well as sales and office occupations (i.e. clerical/administrative). Additionally, the African born are less likely to work in service, production, transportation, material moving, construction, and maintenance occupations than the foreign born in general (Dixon D, 2006). In the UK a study by Li and Heath, from Birmingham University and Oxford University (respectively), found that Africans are more likely to be in professional and managerial jobs than white British men, with a large proportion, about 40%, holding these positions (Li and Heath, 2006; Cassidy, 2006). Black African Educational Attainment and their Implications for IQ:
The information presented above suggests that African born blacks residing in western countries as a group possess IQs that are between 5 points and a full standard deviation (15 IQ points) above that of whites living in these countries (see, Gottfredson, 1998; Ostrowsky, 1999; Richardson, 2002; Cross, 1994; Williams, 2005; Nisbett, 2002). So that if one accepts the research suggesting direct casual relationships between academic attainment and IQ (Gottfredson, 1998; Ostrowsky, 1999) the median IQ for African blacks residing in the west should be about 110! This is especially true for those living in the United States and in the UK. One may also expect to find, according to much of the “corroborative” literature that relates IQ with education, approximately twice the number of African born immigrants with IQs in the 115 range, than among the general white American population (Gottfredson, 1998; Ostrowsky, 1999; Williams, 2005; Nisbett, 2002); and more than twice the number of African immigrants in the 125 IQ range (see Gottfredson, 1998; Nisbett, 2002; The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, 1999-2000). For example, in the United States, African born blacks and their offspring have been reported to exceed American born whites in several of the most cognitive socio-economic indicators – ‘the areas of educational attainment and occupational status’ -- in ways that are virtually identical to the gaps observed between native born white and black Americans (Nisbett, 2002; Charles, 2007; Le, 2007; Le, 2007; US Census Bureau, Census 2000. "5% Public Use Microdata Sample.").
Some advantages to using academic attainment comparisons for the analysis of major group differences in IQ in Western industrialized nations are that they provide very big numbers, sample sizes often in the hundreds of thousands, that are genuinely random; and consequently specific ethnicities can be compared with statistical confidence. Evidence shows that the differences in overall educational attainment observed between African born blacks in the United States and UK and native born whites are quite spectacular! Indeed, if one chooses to adopt the racial hereditarian thinking of Jensen (1980), Herrnstein and Murray (1994) or Gottfredson (1998), these disparities become suggestive of underlying intelligence differences between the two populations; with these differences in “strong favor” of African born blacks! Though higher cognitive indices are said by some to be predictive of more educational achievements and more education predictive of higher intellectual outcomes (e.g., Brody, 1997; Ceci & Williams, 1997), so that there are reciprocal relationships. Most who study African immigrants attribute their inclination toward academic attainment to be the result of positive cultural factors (Arthur, 2000; Selassie, 1998).
In the United States today, most claims regarding differences between ethnic ‘populations’ in relationship to IQ test performance are based on statistically derived data that relate to scholastic aptitude tests (e.g. Flynn, 2006). With this in mind, and acknowledging the superior educational attainment of African blacks in the United States (and elsewhere) it can thus be argued, because of their superior educational attainment levels, that they must also surmount far more in number and more difficult scholastic aptitude tests, in general, which in turn would require higher level IQs (see Gottfredson, 1998; Ostrowsky, 1999). As whites on average do not, or are unable to attain the same levels of academic achievement within these (their own!) academic institutional frameworks, they must also by the racialist thinking employed by some, possess significantly lower cogitative indices on the group level (e.g. Jensen, 1980; Gottfredson, 1986, 1998). In fact, attainment differences of these ‘grand’ magnitudes would suggest that American whites, in particular, are at a significant intellectual handicap when matched against immigrants of black African, East Indian, and East Asian descent. Incidentally, most American whites themselves are the children or grandchildren of “self-selected,” voluntary immigrants from Europe (Ogbu and Simons, 1998), and thus these trends can not be said to result from immigrant selectivity.
African born blacks residing in Western countries tend also to be concentrated in higher level professional occupations, which are considered (by some) to be more intellectually demanding; requiring greater cognitive ability (Jensen, 1980; Gottfredson, 1986; Herrnstein and Murray, 1994), than the average occupations of either American or British born whites (Nisbett, 2002; Dixon, 2006; Li and Heath, 2006; Dustmann and Theodoropoulos, 2006). According to IQ advocates and social Darwinists, alike, these occupational differences should also be indicative of higher levels of intelligence among black African immigrants than among whites (e.g. Gottfredson, 1986; Jensen 1980). Cole (1990), argues that the relevance of school-based skills, such as those found on IQ and scholastic aptitude tests, will grow as the outside-of-school contexts becomes more like that of school itself. While demand for these kinds of school based skills are found most frequently among the clerical/administrative occupations (Richardson, 2002) which African born blacks residing in western countries tend to be found overrepresented (Nisbett, 2002; Dixon, 2006). In fact, as virtually all IQ tests in popular use today were designed specifically for the purposes of predicting academic success and occupational status, it could thus be argued that the west’s hereditarian “Cognitive Elite” (discussed in “The Bell Curve”) could be best described as black men and women from Africa.
Something else to note, according to the New York Times (Roberts, 2005), for the first time in history more blacks are coming to the United States from Africa than during the entire span of the transatlantic slave trade: “Immigration figures show that since 1990 more Africans have arrived voluntarily than the total who disembarked in chains before the United States outlawed international slave trafficking in 1807. “ For example, research shows that around 15% of Ghana’s 20million citizens live aboard (Owusu-Ankomah 2006). Similar trends can be observed among other African states. The U.S. Census Bureau's 2005 American Community Survey counted 114,000 black African immigrants in the Washington metropolitan area, alone, accounting for about 11 percent of the area’s total immigrant population. Less than 6 percent arrived before 1980. In other words: black African achievement can not simply be dismissed as that of a “small group” of elites entirely unrepresentative of the greater continent. Moreover, the academic attainment and occupational achievements of black Africans are not only documented in the United States, but also the UK (Li and Heath, 2006; Dustmann, Theodoropoulos, 2006) and Canada (Guppy and Davies, 1998; Boyd, 2002; The Canadian Encyclopedia, 2008)."
They have three to five times their proportionate share of college faculty, architects, scientists, teachers, engineers, and physicians. They are overrepresented among winners of National Merit Scholarships, U.S. Presidential Scholarships, Arts Recognition and Talent Search scholars, and Westinghouse Science Talent Search scholars. They are overrepresented at American's most prestigious universities (Flynn 1991), constituting roughly 50% of the freshmen at the University of California at Berkeley and 10% to 30% of students in many other elite universities (Arenson 2007). They score higher on the SAT and ACT, especially in math. In published "school report cards" mandated by the No Child Left Behind Act, they perform much better than other minority groups. They generally excel in quantitative skills and outnumber whites in engineering and computer science disciplines (Hune and Chan 1997). Conservative scholars such as Richard Lynn show Asians achieving higher test scores than whites and estimate the IQs of Asians in their native countries to be higher than that of whites (Lynn 1991). The Asian superiority was especially pronounced in math (Stevenson and Lee 1990). The Asian advantage seems to prevail even in adoption situations. An adoption study of Korean children adopted by whites in Belgium (average adoption age 1.15), compared the tests of the Asian children with those of native whites, using the French version of the well known WISC test. The Asian children obtained a mean IQ of 119- some 19 points ahead of native whites. This was later norm-corrected to about 110 points, still ahead of native whites. (Sternberg 2000). In the 19930s the black-white IQ gap was estimated at some 15 points. This had narrowed to approximately 8 points by the late 1990s (Dickens & Flynn 2006). This 8-point gap is comparable to the 6-point gap between whites and Asians based on Lynn's data cited above.
Asian American students have also been found to spend significantly more time on homework (Steinberg 1996) and parents have higher educational expectations for their children than White Americans did (Mau, 1997). Golden (2006) revealed that colleges held Asian-American students to a higher standard than whites. Golden concluded that some Asian-American students who would have been admitted if they were of any other ethnicity got rejected -- often for reasons based on stereotype -- to make room for "more desirable" students. Consequently, Asian-American students face by far the lowest admissions rate of any ethnic group (17.6%, compared with 23.8% for whites, 33.7% for blacks, and 26.8% for Hispanics) (Shea 2006), despite the fact that they constitute great numbers of students in some prestigious universities. Asians also seem to have less mental health problems than whites. A 2007 analysis of 379 National Institute of Mental Health-funded psychiatric clinical trial studies published between 1995 and 2004 found that Asian Americans made up only 0.6% of the patients studied -- the lowest representation of any ethnic group (Morain 2007).
Asian students are a remarkable 2.5 times more likely than their white classmates to qualify fir admission for the prestigious the University of California system, They make up 10 percent of the state's population, but almost half of the student body at the state's two flagship schools, Berkeley and UCLA. Of the top bracket in the basic SAT I, Asians made up 25% in Math and 11% in verbal, even though only 4.2% of the eligible students. In the more specialized SAT II tests, Asian scores were again spectacular, triple their share of top scores in writing and history, five times their proportional share in biology and about 8 times theit share in boh SAT II math tests, in chemistry and in physics. (Thernstrom S. (2004) No Excuses: Closing the Racial Gap in Learning. p- 88-110).The same pattern shows in higher income Asians. Asian parents who had earned graduate degrees outperformed white students from comparable homes by 42% on SAT scores. In verbal scores, whites from higher income levels do better, although this is reversed at income levels 60,000 or above where Asians seize advantage. Thernstrom 2004 and other researchers attribute this to the fact that many Asia students grow up in homes in which English is not the main language, and suggests that Asians would outperform white even on verbal tests if English was the first language of Asian test takers. He shows that over a third of second generation Asians ranked in the top quartile nationally on national NELS tests.
In highly selective institutions of higher education the Asian presence is striking. Only 4% of the US population is Asian, Asians made up 27% of the 2000-2001 freshman class at MIT, 25% at Stanford, 24% at Cal tech, 18% at Columbia, 17% at Harvard and 12% at Duke or Princeton. Asians are far more likely to graduate from college. In 2000, a majority (54%) of Asians ages 25-29 had a bachelor's degree or more compared to just 34% of whites. [quote]

Former Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino tried to sidestep University of Arkansas guidelines to quickly hire his mistress, Jessica Dorrell, as the team’s player development coordinator, according to documents obtained by SI.com. The documents show that Petrino sought a waiver to circumvent a university affirmative action policy requiring that the job be posted for at least 30 days before interviews could commence. Dorrell’s first interview was scheduled even before the waiver was granted by the university’s Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance.
From 159 applicants, three finalists were identified: Ben Wilkerson, Tiffany Fields and Dorrell. According to the resumes they submitted to Arkansas, Wilkerson and Fields had football backgrounds. Dorrell’s resume did not mention football.
The job description also listed “master’s degree in related field” as a preferred qualification. Again, Dorrell was the only finalist not to meet that standard.
According to his resume, Wilkerson completed a master’s degree in sports management at LSU in August 2011. He also had the most extensive football background. Wilkerson was a four-year starter at offensive line at LSU, from 2001 to ’04. He was part of the school’s 2004 national championship team and was named a first-team All-America. He went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2005 and ’06, and for the Atlanta Falcons in 2007 and ’08. Petrino was Atlanta’s head coach in ’07. At the time he applied for the Arkansas job, Wilkerson was an intern with the LSU football program.
Fields, the third finalist, has two master’s degrees from Arkansas, one in communication and one in education, and is currently a law school student at the law school. She worked as a tutor at Arkansas for student athletes, and since ’09 had been an Arkansas recruiting assistant and helped organize summer football camps — which is one of the player development coordinator’s duties — recruiting visits, and team travel. Petrino is listed among Fields’s references.
Dorrell’s resume, unlike the other two, makes no specific mention of the job requirements, but does mention other traits, like “fundraising skills” that are not part of the Arkansas job listing. At the time of her application, according to her resume, the former All-SEC volleyball player was working as the assistant director for women’s athletics at the Razorback Foundation, and before that worked as a graduate assistant in the athletic department.

WHEN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION WAS WHITE- author Katznelson traces history to show that goals, timetables and quotas were specifically put in place to benefit whites at the expense of blacks beginning in the New Deal era. Indeed such quotas were embraced by southern whites with the specific understanding that they would benefit and not blacks. In program after program, blacks were systematically cut out of the loop and sidelined while whites pocketed the benefits and filled body count quotas. Katznelson shows how this was accomplished while whites used a seemingly "race neutral" approach.

Rather than seeing affirmative action developing out of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, Katznelson finds its origins in the New Deal policies of the 1930s and 1940s. And instead of seeing it as a leg up for minorities, Katznelson argues that the prehistory of affirmative action was supported by Southern Democrats who were actually devoted to preserving a strict racial hierarchy, and that the resulting legislation was explicitly designed for the majority: its policies made certain, he argues, that whites received the full benefit of rising prosperity while blacks were deliberately left out. Katznelson places into contemporary context the cause of racial inequity that is directly related to government policies, which are widely believed to benefit blacks but which have actually benefited whites. He eschews the more generalist focus on slavery and white supremacy as the causes of racial inequality and focuses on government policies of the New Deal and post-World War II distribution of veteran benefits. He identifies in a practical sense government policies, most of which appear neutral on their face, that were designed to restrict blacks and, in fact, impeded them from progressing commensurate with white America. The war economy and labor needs expanded opportunities for blacks and substantially reduced economic disparities. But postwar policies to promote home ownership and labor laws regarding minimum wages deliberately excluded blacks. Other policies providing the engine that produced today's middle class, including the GI benefits that financed college education, reinforced the discriminatory patterns...

Sowell holds that immigrants classified as "minorities", suffering no past discrimination in the United States are benefitting well from Affirmative Action. The Fanjul family from Cuba for example, with a fortune exceeding $500 million - received contract set asides for minority businesses. European businessmen from Portugal received the bulk of the money paid to "minority owned construction firms" between 1986 and 1990 in Washington D.C. Asian businessmen immigrating to the United States had also received preferential access to government contracts.
Sowell also argues that while blacks are the claimed beneficiaries of a program primarily intended to benefit blacks, a huge majority of "minority and female owned" businesses are in fact owned by groups ''other'' than blacks, including Asians, Hispanics and women. In addition the vast majority of "minority" firms appeared to gain little from government set-asides. in Cincinnati for example, 682 minority firms appeared o n the city's approved list but 13% of these companies received 62% of preferential access and 83% of the money. Nationally, a miniscule one-fourth of one percent of minority-owned enterprises are certified to receive preferences under the Small Business Administration, but even within this tiny number, 2% of the firms received 40% of the money.<ref> Sowell, 2004. Alleged "calamity" affecting white males "swamped" by black AA quotas is bogus, according to detailed US Dept of Labor survey of reverse discrimination cases. Most cases brought by white complainers lacked merit, courts ruled.

Affirmative action has caused very few claims of reverse discrimination by white people, according to a draft of a report prepared by the Labor Department. The author says his findings poke holes in the theory that affirmative-action programs unfairly benefit minorities at the expense of white workers.
The report, prepared by a law professor at Rutgers University, Alfred W. Blumrosen, found fewer than 100 reverse-discrimination cases among more than 3,000 discrimination opinions by Federal district and appeals courts from 1990 to 1994.
A "high proportion" of the reverse-discrimination claims lacked merit, the review found. Reverse discrimination was established in six cases, and the courts provided appropriate relief in those cases, it said.
"This research suggests that the problem of 'reverse discrimination' is not widespread; and that where it exists, the courts have given relief," Mr. Blumrosen wrote. "Nothing in these cases would justify dismantling the existing structure of equal employment opportunity programs." Other detailed studies BY SCHOLARS show very little reverse discrimnation against whites in employment, exposing the bogus propaganda spun by racist "biodiversity" proponents. Most discrimination complaints brought by white men actually involve sex, not race discrimintion, and the main opponent of the white men in said complaints was WHITE women.
"Reverse discrimination is rate both in absolute terms and relative to conventional discrimination. The most direct evidence for this conclusion comes from employment-audit studies. On every measured outcome, African-American men were much more likely than white men to experience discrimination, and Latinos were more likely than non-Hispanic men to experience discrimination (Heckman and Siegelman 1993, p. 218) Statistics on the numbers and outcomes of complaints of employment discrimination also suggest that reverse discriination is rare. According to national surverys, relatively few whites have experienced reverse discrimination. Only 5 to 12 percent of whites beleive that their race has cost them a job or promotion, compared to 36 percent of African AMericans... Alfred Blumrosen's (1996, pp. 5-6) exhaustive review of discrimination complaints filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission offers additional evidence that reverse discrimination is rare... Other detailed studies show trivial to almost no "reverse discrimination" against whites in employment. These studies note that reverse discrimination has occurred, but its prevalence is rare QUOTE: "Barbara Reskin 1998) also acknowledges that some white men are hurt. In the four-page section n reverse discrimination, she discusses studies showing that few EEOC cases involving charges of dsicrimination filed by white men (Blumrosen 1995, 1996) and the few federal appeals court cases involving discrimination where white men are the plaintiffs (Burstein, 1991; She concludes, "Although rare, reverse discrimination does occur." --Fred Pincus 2010. Curiously, the background of "Affirmative Action" quotas- Richard Nixon's "Philadelphia Plan", does not reveal any hard push for such quotas by black leaders at the time. The main drive for the quota plan seemed to have come from elsewhere. History does not show blacks lined up at the time clamoring for quotas, as alleged by assorted right wingers...

Historically many white unions have systematically discriminated against blacks, while speaking the language of progressive "brotherhood" and "merit." In some workplaces, skilled blacks trained lesser skilled whites who then moved up the ladder, while the blacks were denied promotion not simply by outright discrimination but by a subtle web of union rules and restrictions.

Historically in the U.S. IQ tests have always been used to reify the cognitive skills of blacks who on account of poor educational background have scored 85 on IQ tests. The U.S. average is 97--so that's a 12 point gap. Dickens and Flynn(2006) show based on their study of a number of test results that from 1972 to 2002 blacks have gained minimally 5 points on whites fort the same period. That means that the average black IQ for that period would be 90 to the white 97.
Clearly the gains are due to environmental causes. But even when using the old scores of 85 blacks still outdo a host of nations in West Asia(Iraq 83,Iran 84, Saudi Arabia 78, etc.), South Asia(India 81) and perform on par with South East Asian nations(average 86). They also score higher than Central American nations(Mexico 83, Guatemala, 78, etc.).
Obviously, IQ scores reflect a combination of environmental and genetic[in the broad sense] factors as is evidenced in the yet to be refuted "Flynn effect".

I think you guys are missing the bigger picture. Its not an objective measure. And while it reflects a poor educational quality, it is deeper than a lack of material resources or even encouraging teachers. Its a culture test that measures a particular level of assimilation to Euro learning/thinking style. Or at least the styles preferred by them. Its questionable to even assume closing the gap is a good thing as it means we come closer to the eradication of other learning/thinking styles.

It's all racial politics because IQ tests are hardly ever used in Asian countries such as Japan, China, and Taiwan. Yet these countries have advanced greatly in technological prowess due to their strong emphasis on education--even to the point of instituting "cram schools" to help in the process. In those countries academic failure such as failing university entrance exams can produce such stress and personal disappointment that suicide is the outcome.
As I said IQ tests in the U.S. come with heavy racial and racism baggage because they are naively assumed by the simple-minded white public that they actually measure just innate intelligence--when in actual fact scores derive from both the cultural environment and cognitive abilities. The Flynn Effect reinforces this point: IQ scores in the West have been increasing by 0.33 points per annum since 1947.

In Central America--Mexico(Hebert 1978) scored 83 and places like Guatemala score 78. All these scores are reported by Lynn and Vanhanen in their text "IQ and the Wealth of Nations".
So the results of their studies show that IQ is not all tracked by race--yet this continues to be their fanatically dogmatic assumption.
James Flynn in his "What is Intelligence" again reinforces the claim that IQ is very much a function of environment with his studies demonstrating the robustness of the Flynn Effect.

If there are learning styles then they are purely cultural and change over time.
In Asia rote memorisation is the traditional way of learning. This is also the case in West Asian and Islamic countries where recitation and rote learning is the norm.
Point is that in the West rote learning was also the norm until about 50 years ago. The teacher gave notes and you just learned them by heart then regurgitated them exam time.
Human brains operate the same everywhere--except in the abnormal cases of autism, idiot savantism, genius for music, chess, mathematics, etc--so it's a question of how the brain is conditioned to appraise information. The young individual can be taught to accept inputs uncritically or he/she can be trained to appraise knowledge critically. So it's rote memorising of critical thinking or combinations of both.
Some parents train their children from very young to appraise information critically while others don't. And that in the final analysis is what counts.
If there are different learning styles for different peoples then they are derived totally from cultural norms, and nothing else.

I don't know what is a "common black learning style".
Here in Africa at the universities students come to class, listen to what the lecturer is saying and writing on the boards and they take notes--in all subjects.
Some are quicker than others, some pay more attention than others, and some come to class more often than others.
Those who work the hardest and show most interest in the subject usually do better than others.
Unfortunately, many of the books used are published in Europe or the U.S. But the students understand what they are reading though at different paces.
I don't think students in African universities are aware of "common black learning styles". The point is to understand the material as quickly as possible and remember the key points.
So if, for example, you become a medical doctor you will know what you are doing when you see a patient and not make them worse than when they came in.
Patience, memory, and logical thinking is what efficient learning is all about. Some hostudents can read and study for many urs each day, others don't. Nothing to do with "black learning styles". Some African students have successfully studied in places like Taiwan, China and Japan and they have applied the same methods they used at home.

Hey Cassi did they test for cranial features? After all you've said AAs in America can be Caucasoid. It would be an invalid test unless they divided blacks by cranial features right? Actually it just might. Though I want to add the disclaimer of "common" or traditional learning styles.emphasis on Memorization and logical thought is actually part of one learning style. Their ability to succeed abroad with this style (esp. in places that prefer it) doesnt mean there is only one learning style.

See Mr A-P, in South africa Black people have extremely testing learning conditions. Science students do not have any resources to perform scientific experiments, we have to memorize what each outcome is and what each chemical reaction looks like. Textbooks sometimes arrive only in nid year. Others learn under trees, ruins and just open fields (literally). I know this because I have been there but here I am, at university but still it is hard to adjust having to suddenly type my assignments when I had never used a computer before that (many Blacks now own computers but the majority don't). We have to learn in a tongue that is absolutely foreign to us but guess what? Afrikaaners ('Caucasoids') and the mixed-race 'Coloureds'actually get to write matric exams, get university tuition in their home language...AFRIKAANS and most also do not really understand English. Do you see the inequalities? They, the whites attend private schools and their 'public' education schools are way more resourced than township schools, what more for rural schools? despite these injustices Blacks do perform at the highest level academically as the links I have included show. Almost 20 years after the dismantling of Apartheid it is surprising that in a place like SA scientific and lab materials are still scarce for the African students. What is the ANC government doing about these deficiencies in education.

The simple axiom is that the black man must via his governments take responsibility for the educational state of their countries. But they don't. These governments seem lost in a daze. There is no sense of urgency in their actions. They just love to have others do what they should be doing themselves. That's why countries like China are let in so easily.
Individually, blacks do quite well in education. There are blacks who have gone to Russia, learned the language then went on to obtain good degrees in medicine, economics, engineering and the sciences in general. The same for black students who went to Germany, learned the language and performed well academically.
The thing about IQ tests has long been settled after the research done by Flynn and the fact that it is known that African American scores are uniformly higher than those of prestigious historical nations such as Iraq and Iran. Both were known in the past as Sumer(Mesopotamia) and Persia. India which supposedly had an impressive civilisation scores 81 on IQ tests. So IQ scores are determined by so-called race.

2--WHite "role models" are leading the charge to redefine and destroy traditional marriage along homosexual lines.
It took people on the left side- the despised Black and Hispanic "NAMs", to preserve traditional marriage in California, USA. Whites were willing to undermine it, and continue to do so nationwide. Derbyshire and other HBDers are always lecturing black folk on monogamy, conveniently skirting the fact that whites themselves are fast undermining and destroying monogamy.
A related claim advanced by biodiversity proponents is the absence of monogamy among Africans until "outside" influences like European colonialism brought it. But this is nonsense. Polygamy was more common in Africa than in Europe, but monogamy also has a long history in Africa even before Africans were forciblly transported to the US, and before any significant influence from Europe. Of the 31 captives of the famous Amistad slave ship for example, 15 were married, and only 1 was polygamous, and monogamy is common in various parts of Africa. Michael Kay, Lorin Lee Cary- pg 160.</i> Some HBDers also tout "Middle easterners" and Asians as "role models" on this score but in fact, Asia has had polygamy for a long time parallel with monogamy, along with things like multiple concubinage, practiced in China. And it was not until 1945 that polygamy was finally abolished in Japan.
And people like Jews practiced polygamy for centuries as documented in the Bible and anthropological studies. For Arabs and those who follow Islam, polygamy is permissible even today. Indeed while monogamy has been more dominant in Europe, polygamy has always been around until very recent times. Indeed, one of the things Christianity did for Europe was to stamp out and discourage polygamy. Ironically, there is also a long tradition of polygamy in white Christianity (see <i>After polygamy was made a sin: the social history of Christian polygamy- By John Cairncross</i>), and polygamy is documented as common in white Russia in various eras. Ironically Christianity itself, based on the religion of a Semitic people from the sub-tropical Middle East, not cold climate areas, was adopted in white Europe, and thus provided the "rules of morality" that helped suppress polygamy (among other things) by Europeans in many regions as Cairncross notes. In the modern era, the revolving door divorce cycle of many modern whites closely approaches patterns of polygamy.
Another related claim is of an era of idyllic white virtue and goodness during the 1970s, a temporary time of paradise, before disreputable "minorities" moved in to spoil things. Alas this claim too, in its many variants, both hard and soft, is bogus. The supposed "idyllic serenity" may have existed in SOME white areas, but within that haze of supposed sweetness and light, white America was rapidly degenerating in the 1970s, a continuation of trends from the 1960s, long before any real "integration" of the suburbs by blacks. White America saw rising divorce rates, rising drug use, rising out of wedlock births, rising feminism, rising homosexuality, etc. All this is well documented by historians in books such as Bruce J. Schulman's 2002 "The seventies: the great shift in American culture, society.." Furthermore the driving forces behind such changes were whites themselves. RAPE
The highest incidence of rape in the modern world is perpetrated by white "role models". SOviet troops not only raped over two million German women, but also tens of thousands of SoVIET women who had been taken for slave labour by the Nazis. The white troops raped their own fellow citizens, who had just undergone suffering under the Nazis.

In addition, during the era of slavery, tens of thousands of black women were brutally raped by whites. After slavery, sexual assaults by whites against black women continued, with black victims forbidden to testify against their attackers or intimidated into silence while white authorities collaborated with white rapists to look the other way. The brutal case of Recy Taylor, documented in the book At the Dark End of the Street, 2011, by Danielle McGuire - is typical of the conduct of white "role models" - actual physical rape to start, and later rape by an alleged "justice" system.
Tens of thousands of white on black rapes occurred prior to the FBI investigations and civil rights protections of the 1960s, according to author Danielle McGuire. The horrific gang rape of Recy Taylor which many white newspapers declined to even report, is merely one example of white "role models" at work. WHite law enforcement authorities knew who the attackers were based on Taylor's description, but avoided doing an official police lineup, ensuring that Taylor would not be able to point them out in open court.
The white authorities claimed they had the men on bond, "pending trial", but court records show that they issued bond after Taylor's hearing, backdating their supposed "arrest." An all-white jury declined to indict the attackers, who did not even bother to show up in court.

4--White "role models" lead in homosexuality, including its public celebration and embrace.
The allegedly more virtuous, "right" side of the Bell Curve folk. Some studies (Rogers and Turner 1991) report higher rates of homosexual activity among whites than blacks. Remafedi, Resnic Blum and Harris (1992) also find same sex attraction some 3 times higher in Whites than Blacks. Yet another study confirms white leadership in homosexuality. A National AIDS Behavioral Survey study (NABS), reported by Binson et al (1995) shows that 9.1% of white men, 3.1% of Black men, 2.7 percent of Hispanic men, and 2.3 percent of Asian/other had had same-sex action. In essence whites were 3 times more likely than blacks to be engaging in homosexual acts. Indeed, the NABS study oversampled Black and Hispanic men but still showed higher rates of white activity. In another study based on vascular risk factors Krieger and Sidney (1997) reported white women and men were more likely to have had homosexual or bisexual contact than either black men or black women. In essence whites were twice as likely to be engaged in homosexual behavior than blacks. Here again, the supposedly more virtuous, mo betta "right" side of the Bell Curve produces dismal "leadership" on the moral front.
"Heriditarian" types often use IQ scores to disparage the morality of putative lesser breeds, but such IQ scores show correlation with homosexuality, according to some research. Indeed according to some studies, homosexuals post higher IQs than straights. (John P. De Cecco, Michael G. Shively (1984) Bisexual and homosexual identities: critical theoretical issues. Routledge). Alan Soble (1997) Sex, love, and friendship: studies of the Society for the Philosophy of Sex. Rodopi. pp. 77) lists several studies attesting to higher homosexual IQs, with most of the subjects in said studies being white. (See also James Weinrich, (1976). Human Reproductive Strategy. Since IQ is so important in so many ways, including evolution, according to Derbyshire and assorted HBDers, a cynic using their logic might well argue that homosexuality represents another, "higher" step in white evolution. As noted above, there is some evidence that whites have higher rates of homosexual behavior and attraction than blacks. Hence, using heriditarian logic, homosexuality and the attendant higher IQs might represent an "evolutionary" advance of white people.
Northern European "role models" show extensive homosexual activity stretching back to ancient times as scholars note. Cold-climate Eastern Europeans not far behind. QUOTE:

The ancient writers leave no doubt as to the Celtic warriors; enthusiasm for homosexuality in general. According to Aristotle, the Celts held homosexuality in high esteem and publicly honored homosexual relations. Diodorus writes that despite the charm of Celtic women, the Celtic men: "long instead for the embrace of one of their own sex lying on animal skins and tumbling around with a lover on on either side. It is particularly surprising that they attach no value to either dignity or decency, offering their bodies to each other without further ado. Note: ALL cultures have gay individuals and relationships, and some cultures worked out practical "live and let live" arrangements for them, yet some "hereditarian" and "Aryan" types applaud Nazi attempts to kill gays as a way of "purging" the race. Whites post higher rates of child molestation than other groups according to scholars Hattery and Smith 2007, depending on the baselines measured, and said white child molesters serve LESS time for their crimes than black crack cocaine offenders, according to some studies. QUOTE:

The police chief profiling report mentions several offenses, but when broken out separately, a pattern emerges of whites as over-represented among child molesters. Kirk (1975) found that black offenders were more likely to pick out adult females for sexual assault at a rate three times more than white offenders (34% and 11% respectively), compared to white offenders who selected non-adults more. Kirk's finding is supported by West and Templer's 1994 study of incarcerated sex offenders, which found that a disproportionate number of child molesters were white, compared to negro offenders. The heavy white pattern varies by state. For example, a 1998 study in Florida was carried out on molesters over a 21 month period. Of these 88.4% were white, versus 7.9% black. Around 1998, Florida's populations stood at 78% white, and 14.6% black (Bureau of the Census 2000). An alternative point of comparison is to compare criminals to criminals - those actually in jail for crime - rather than non-offending persons in the general population. In the 1990s in Florida, whites made up less than 50% of the prison population.* Based on such patterns, whites are thus overrepresented as a proportion of those in jail. And in 1994 the white prison population was less than 50%, (48,21% per the Federal Sourcebook of Criminal Justice Statistics- 1990) and yet whites made up 77% of all child molesters in prison, almost 30 percent more than their representation in the general prison population. Whites are thus overrepresented as child molesters in proportion to their incarceration rate.
Numerous "HBD" statistics do comparisons to "the general population" - but why always make comparisons to a pool that includes innocent 86 year old grandmothers, pregnant 24-year olds, or 3-year old children? Another equally valid alternative comparison is to compare criminals to criminals- and run the statistics that way. We are talking crime- hence let's run comparisons among the criminal population as well. Hence the 1994 data, and some of the other data above for incarcerated persons shows some interesting patterns that are carefully dodged and avoided by assorted "biodiversity" types.
In summary, while child molestation occurs in all ethnicities, available data show that higher IQ folk display unimpressive moral "leadership" on this score.
Note: No ethnic group is exempt from the above but "biodiversity" proponents continually tout cold climate and or northern European peoples, cold climate eastern Europeans and Asiatics as sterling evolutionary role models, superior in virtue to lesser breeds. A close examination of the actual data yields a much less flattering reality.
6-- White "role models" lead in divorce rates nationally. Within the top 10 of countries with the highest divorce rates in the world, most are reportedly high IQ Western nations- such as the US, Russia, the UK, Denmark, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Finland. 7- White "role models" often presume to lecture others on sexual morality but their own conduct in such areas as out-of-wedlock births is rather unimpressive.
It is a fact that for decades prior to the 1960s, black folk in the US posted higher marriage rates and lower divorce rates than whites. Furthermore white OOW rates are hardly sterling. Among the supposedly more virtuous northern Europeans for example, like the white Irish, the OOW rate in some decades of the 19th century exceeded 50% in heavily Irish areas of settlement in cities like NYC, even though the Irish made up less than 26% of the population at the time (Sowell 1981, 1983).
Supposedly virtuous white "Nordic" Europeans are no better. In the 1850s, in Sweden's biggest city, Stockholm, for example, the illegitimacy rate was close to 50%. As Burns and Scott (1994) show, by the mid 19th century when reliable cross-national figures are widely available, it was found than in illegitimacy, (Stockholm (with a 46% rate in the 1850s) was second only to Vienna (49%) among European capitals. Indeed this trend was a continuation since the early 1800s. Nor was this solely a pattern for mid century 1800s. In ultra-white Sweden at the start of the 20th century, barely half of Swedish women married and around one-sixth of children were born out of wedlock. Nor was this solely an urban Stockholm phenomenon. High illegitimacy rates and declining marriage rates were also found in rural areas as well (A companion to nineteenth-century Europe, 1789-1914, By Stefan Berger, Wiley 2006.) By contrast, as late as 1950 the US black illegitimacy rate stood at 17%, well below that of the touted white Swedish "role models" above, and for 50 years, black marriage rates were higher than that of US whites (Sowell 2004- Black Rednecks, White Liberals), and better than the Swedish pattern over several decades. The black illegitimacy rate in 1965 was STILL lower than the 28% posted by US whites in 2000.
Closer into the 20th century, white Nordic "role models" are no paragons of virtue: By the year 2000, out of wedlock births in Nordic Sweden had reached 53% of all births- a steep rise from a mere 10% illegitimacy rate in mid century. In the early 1980s illegitimacy rates were on the order of 45% in Iceland and Sweden and 40% in Denmark. 8-- The record of white "role models" is much less than advertised re allegedly superior virtue when scrutiny is applied. Indeed some of the supposed paragons of Bell Curve goodness, northern Europeans, have a dubious record in terms of reputed virtue and morality.
Let us begin by looking at white Southerners in the USA- and let's give assorted "biodiversity" proponents the benefit of the doubt by not using "liberal" scholars- let's stick with conservative ones. What happens when even conservative scholars like Thomas Sowell look at the data? We see that native white southerners historically are among the most backward and violent people in the American population. According to Sowell, in his 2005 Black Rednecks and White Liberals, what many see as pathologies of contemporary black culture actually derive from a dysfunctional historical white-southern “cracker” culture. "The cultural values and social patterns prevalent among Southern whites included an aversion to work, proneness to violence, neglect of education, sexual promiscuity, improvidence, drunkenness, lack of entrepreneurship, reckless searches for excitement, a lively music and dance, and a style of religious oratory marked by strident rhetoric, unbridled emotions, and flamboyant imagery. This oratorical style carried over into the political oratory of the region in both the Jim Crow era and the civil rights era, and has continued on into our own times among black politicians, preachers, and activists. Touchy pride, vanity, and boastful self- dramatization were also part of this redneck culture among people from regions of Britain where the civilization was the least developed.[25]" ------------- Several scholars support Sowell’s observations. Grady McWhiney’s Cracker Culture (1988) is a thorough historical study of the values and behavioral patterns of white Southerners, and is backed by many other scholarly studies which have turned up very similar patterns even when they differed in some ways as to the causes. Scholar Hackett Fischer’s Albions Seed,(1989) for example, eschews the Celtic theory advanced by McWhiney, but shows many of the same cultural patterns for the whites, both in Britain and the American South.[26]
Nor can "evil papists" be blamed. Most whites who settled the south were Protestants. Now let's look at another northern European people- whom all are supposed to hail as paragons of cold-climate virtue - the white Irish. The Irish have long been marked by high levels of violence, substance abuse, promiscuity, anti- intellectualism, etc. In rural Ireland before mass immigration to America, for example, sexual morality was relatively conservative. However once the Irish peasantry hit the crowded, fetid slums and streets of big cities such as New York or Boston, this traditional rural conservatism began to break down, In New York for example, some decades of the 19th century show white Irish illegitimacy rates as high as 50% even though the Irish made up less than 26% of the city's population. Likewise in the 1850s around 50% of the people arrested daily were white Irish even though they made up less that 26% of the city's population. (Sowell 1981). Likewise the fallout of the Industrial Revolution in white Britain included horrific poverty, dismal slums and widespread violence as the rural peasantry migrated to the dismal venues of the city.
As far as violence, one history notes: "The New York Draft Riot has gone down in history as one of the nation's bloodiest urban riots. Moreover, the behavior of the Irish during these fateful days and the racism they exhibited reinforced their reputation for violence."(Dolan, JP, The Irish Americans: A History. p. 49) On some measures of social propriety, the Irish were no paragons. One survey of prostitutes in the 1800s in heavily Irish NYC for example "revealed that 35 percent were Irish and 12 percent German." The Irish also posted higher rates of female-headed families than other ethnic groups in the same time period. (Binder, F, and Reimers D. Much is made of comparisons to blacks and assorted European immigrants, but as the example of the Irish shows, blacks are not some unique, basket case. They suffered and show the the same patterns that often accompany rural people being urbanized. As anyone who has a basic knowledge of black history knows, WWII was to spark major changes and population movements in Black America. The MAJORITY of Blacks became an urban people, in contrast to the majority rural volk of previous decades. As becoming urbanized, blacks fell prey to a common pattern that often afflicts 'country' people who are squeezed into the crowded slums, violent streets and indifferent attitudes of cities - there is greater social dysfunction as the old rural community bonds begin to break down. It happened with whites from and in Ireland and Britain. It happened with Chinese in the over-packed slums of numerous Chinatowns. It happened with a host of other people in varying measures. But according to HBD "experts", black people are these unique basket cases as far as such problems go. Only they are permanently affected by such horrible dysfunctions, you see, because they are black. Never mind the white people who have gone before, and who underwent the same pattern. They are exempt, and covered with a magical mantle of alleged white goodness and virtue.
Scholar Thomas Sowell (1981, 2004, 1983) notes that many problems identified with blacks in modern society are hardly unique in terms of American ethnic groups, nor in terms of a rural proletariat swept by disruption as it became urbanized.
Heavy patterns of pathology are for example seen in the white peasant migrants to the dismal urban slums that sprung up during the Industrial Revolution in Britain and elsewhere. He maintains that US blacks only became a largely urban people after WWII, when the booming war economy accelerated a third great migration north, allowing millions of blacks to escape the harsh, oppressive conditions of the South. While southern cities also saw some migration, it was this massive wartime era move north that was much more significant, and the arrival of the rural black proletariat into difficult urban conditions broke down many of the social mores and community-generated controls, such as church influence, that had helped maintain its stability in the past. World War I also saw a spurt of urban migration in response to economic demand, but this urbanization was not completed for most blacks until the WWII era. A recent work by Ira Berlin (2010) entitled "The making of African America: the four great migrations" (Viking: 2010) confirms Sowell's data, showing that full, majority black urbanization was accomplished only after the WW II era, making blacks relatively recent mass entrants into urban economies that ite ethnics had long since operated in. The black urban migrants faced massive discrimination above others, but also social dislocation, with corresponding social problems.
Sowell (1981 - Ethnic America- see below) notes that social problems occurring after such migrations are nothing new with other white ethnic groups, who had the advantage of entering, acculturating and adjusting to the urban economy in toto several decades earlier than blacks. The black migrants faced race discrimination above and beyond other ethnic groups, but fundamentally experienced the same social pathologies others did in becoming urbanized.
Difficulties with crime, schooling, substance abuse etc. are thus not uniquely "black" problems but are well represented in other urbanizing groups from peasant background. In Ethnic America (1981), for example, Sowell shows that white ethnic groups like the Irish were marked by many of the same patterns as blacks who migrated from rural backgrounds to the big urban centers, including high levels of violence and substance abuse. As regards out-of-wedlock births, the rate in some New York areas with heavy white Irish settlement was over 50%, comparable to what would develop in later black ghettos in the same city.[50] Sowell sums of some of these claims in his Pink and Brown People and Other Controversial Essays (1981), warning against what he calls the fallacy of presentism:
"Those who cannot swallow pseudo-biology can turn to pseudo-history as the basis for classification. Unique cultural characteristics are now supposed to neatly divide the population. In this more modern version, the ghetto today is a unique social phenomenon.. American ghettos have always had crime, violence, overcrowding, filth, drunkenness, bad school teaching, and worse learning. Nor are blacks historically unique even in the degree of these things. Crime and violence were much worse in the nineteenth-century slums, which were almost all white. The murder rate in Boston in the middle of the nineteenth century was about three times what it was in the middle of the twentieth century. All the black riots of the 1960s put together did not kill half as many people as were killed in one white riot in 1863.. Squalor, dirt, disease? Historically, blacks are neither the first nor last in any of these categories. There were far more immigrants packed into the slums (per room or per square mile) than is the case with blacks today - not to mention the ten thousand to thirty thousand children with no home at all in the nineteenth-century New York...
Even in the area where many people get most emotional- educational and IQ test results- blacks are doing nothing that various European minorities did not do before them. As of about 1920, any number of European ethnic groups had I.Q.'s the same or lower than the I.Q.'s of blacks today. As recently as 1940, there were schools on the Lower East Side of New York with academic performances lower than those of schools in Harlem. Much of the paranoia that we talk ourselves into about race is a result of provincialism about our own time as compared to other periods in history."

Northern European groups also show high rates of violence, criminality, substance abuse and welfare dependency as conservative scholar Thomas Sowell notes. [QUOTE:]

Sewage piled up in backyard privies until the municipal authorities chose to collect it, or else it ran off in open trenches, fouling the air and providing breeding grounds for dangerous diseases. The incidence of tuberculosis in Boston varied closely with the proportion of the Irish living in a neighborhood.
Patterns of alcoholism and fighting brought over from Ireland persisted in the United States. Over half the people arrested in New York in the 1850s were Irish.. Police vans became known as 'Paddy wagons" because the prisoners in them were so often Irish. "The fighting Irish" was a phrase that covered everything from individual brawls to mass melees (known as "Donnybrooks" for a town in Ireland) to criminal gangs.. Irish neighborhoods were tough neighborhoods in cities around the country. The Irish Sixth Ward in New York was known as "the bloody ould Sixth." Another Irish Neighborhood in New York was known as "Hell's Kitchen," and another as 'San Juan Hill" because of the battles fought there. In Milwaukee, the Irish section was called the "Bloody Third".. Where the Irish workers built the Illinois Central Railroad, people spoke of "a murder a mile" as they laid track. The largest riot in American history was by predominantly Irish rioters in New York in 1863..
Even the proportion of the black population who were laborers and house servants in Boston in 1850 was much lower than among the Irish, and the free blacks in mid- century Boston were in general economically better off than the Irish. The Irish-women's work as domestic servants and washerwomen was usually more steadily available than that of Irishmen- a situation later to be repeated among blacks.
As in Ireland itself, the poverty and improvidence of the Irish immigrants to America often reduced them to living on charity when hard times came. In early nineteenth-century Ireland, even before the famine, it was common for whole families of the poor to go 'tramping about it for months, bragging from parish to parish.' Recourse to public charity was a well-established habit carried over to America. Expenditures for relief to the poor in Boston more than doubled from 1845 to 1855, during the heavy influx of the Irish, after such expenditures had been relatively stable for years. In New York City in the same era, about 60 percent of the people in almshouses had been born in Ireland. As late as 1906, there were more Irish than Italian paupers, beggars and inmates of almshouses, even though the Italians arrived a generation later and were generally poorer at the turn of the century. radically different attitudes toward accepting charity existed in Ireland and Italy, and these attitudes apparently had more effect than their respective objective economic conditions in America. There were similar cultural differences in attitudes toward the abandonment of wives and children. In the 1840s, 'it was almost automatically assumed than an orphan was Irish," and as late as 1914, about half the Irish families on Manhattan's west side were fatherless. No such pattern appeared among the Italians.
Although the Irish immigrants (like other immigrants) had a disproportionate representation of young people in the prime of life, the mortality rate shot up after their arrival. Boston's mortality rate in 1850 was double that of the rest of Massachusetts, even though there were relatively fewer aged people in Boston. The difference was due to the extremely high mortality rate in the Irish neighborhoods. Diseases that had become rare in America now flourished again. In 1849, cholera spread through Philadelphia to New York and to Boston- primarily in Irish neighborhoods. There had not been a smallpox epidemic in Boston since 1792, but after 1845, it became a recurring plague, again primarily among the Irish. The spread of the Irish into other neighborhoods, mean, among other things, the spread of these and other diseases. The residential flight of middle-class Americans from the Irish immigrants was by no means all irrationality...
Today's neighborhood changes have been dramatized by such expressions was 'white flight' but these patterns existed long before black-white neighborhood changes were the issue. When the nineteenth-century Irish immigrants flooded into New York and Boston, the native Americans fled. With the first appearance of an Irish family in a neighborhood, 'the exodus of non-Irish residents began. 'White flight' is a misleading term, not only because of its historical narrowness, but also because blacks too have fled when circumstances were reversed. Blacks fled a whole series of neighborhoods in nineteenth-century New York, 'pursued' by new Italian immigrants who moved in. The first blacks in Harlem were fleeing from the tough Irish neighborhoods in mid-Manhattan, and avoided going north of 145th Street for fear of encountering more Irish there." 9- White "role models" historically lead in the murder of children- infanticide..
Scholarly works such as Milner 2000 (Milner, Larry S. (2000). Hardness of Heart / Hardness of Life: The Stain of Human Infanticide') and many others give many of the gory details of the activities of these allegedly virtuous "role models." Asian societies like China for example historically carried out massive amounts of sex selective infanticide. In "Caucasoid" India, female infanticide of newborn girls was systematic in many areas, including tossing children into the Ganges River as a sacrificial offering. Among supposedly more moral and virtuous Caucasoid Europeans, killing of children was common. In ancient Sardinia, three thousand bones of young children, with evidence of sacrificial rituals, have been found there. Among supposedly more virtuous Caucasoid stocks in Southwest Asia or the "Middle East", child sacrifices to their goddess Ishtar was routine, and among some Caucasoid tribes of what is now Greece, every 10th child was killed as sacrifice in difficult economic times. In Caucasoid Carthage, child sacrifice according to Milner, "reached its infamous zenith," with infants and young children burned in fire or roasted alive in hot bronze. One archeological excavations yielded 20,000 charred remains of young children (packed in urns). The Bible mentions such sacrifice among the Caucasoid Phoenicians at a site called Topeth. In "Caucasoid" Greece, the exposure of unwanted newborns was not uncommon, especially among the noble Spartans. In Caucasoid Rome, infanticide was common, despite laws on the books. Indeed Philo the Philosopher speaks out against it, noting the casual nature with which it was carried out by the Romans. Offenders were rarely prosecuted under Roman law, and said law allowed killing of Caucasoid newborns if they were visibly deformed. (Naphtali, Lewis, ed (1985). "Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 744". Life in Egypt Under Roman Rule). Indeed Rome was founded by near victims of infanticide- the legendary Romulus and Remus. Among the ancient Caucasoid Germanic tribes, the practice was not unknown, and unwanted children were liquidated in the forests. In "Caucasoid" Europe of the Middle Ages, one scholar (Langer 2000) notes that infanticide "was practiced on gigantic scale with absolute impunity, noticed by writers with most frigid indifference". In Caucasoid Russia child sacrifice was offered to the pagan god Perun, who was worshipped as the god of lightning and thunder, and in Kamchatka, children were tossed to dogs to be eaten alive. By contrast with the supposedly more virtuous and moral Caucasoids and Asiatics above, Africa has the lowest incidence of infanticide. As scholar Milner notes: QUOTE:

Infanticide did occur in Africa but to a MUCH LOWER extent that allegedly more virtuous cold Caucasoid or Asiatic “role models.” Ancient Egypt, which was fundamentally populated by peoples with tropical limb proportions from south of the Sahara, is no exception (Zakrewski 2007, Keita 1992, 2005, 2008, Raxter and Ruff 2008 et al). In Egyptian households, at all social levels, children of both sexes were valued and there is no evidence of infanticide.[14] The religion of the Ancient Egyptians forbade infanticide and during the Greco-Roman period they rescued abandoned babies from manure heaps, a common method of infanticide by Greeks or Romans, and were allowed to either adopt them as foundlings or raise them as slaves, often giving them names such as "copro -" to memorialise their rescue.[15] Strabo considered it a peculiarity of the Egyptians that every child must be reared.[16] Diodorus indicates infanticide was a punishable offence.[17]

This confirms older analyses by US Customs which found the bulk of child pornography originating in Europe, with Germany being one of the prominent leaders. In sum, HBD, "biodiversity" and "hereditarian" types like to lecture others about the supposedly more virtuous folk on the right hand side of the Bell Curve, but in fact, said allegedly more virtuous "role models" are themselves leaders, and extreme practitioners in many of the most degrading examples of human corruption, filth, dissolution, and violence.

NOW LET'S MOVE FARTHER BACK INTO THE MISTS OF TIME WHEN SUPPOSEDLY, SUPERIOR CAUCASOID VIRTUE "EVOLVED" DUE TO VARIOUS ALLEGED "CHALLENGES." AS WE SHALL SEE, SUCH CLAIMS ARE MOSTLY SELF-FLATTERING RUBBISH.
Another plank of 'biodiversity' proponents' is that cold-climate peoples lived in 'harsh' environments and this developed higher IQs and superior morality. Alas, an examination of their evidence reveals that the alleged cold-climate environmental "deprivation" of ancient cold-adapted Europeans is dubious. If anything the environment was often favorable, with reliable and predictable food and material resources. Despite this however cold-climate Europeans never pioneered plant or animal domestication even though the species to do this were in place, along with the favorable East-West climatic axis they enjoyed. The attack occurred in Theater 9 at the Century 16 movie theater adjacent to the Town Center at Aurora shopping mall. The shooter bought a ticket and walked into the movie theater. According to FBI sources, he left by an emergency exit, propped it open, dressed in protective black clothing and gathered weapons from his car parked behind the exit.[5] He returned through the emergency door about half an hour into the film,[10] "dressed all in black; he was wearing a ballistic helmet, a tactical ballistic vest, ballistic leggings, a throat protector and a groin protector and a gas mask, and black tactical gloves," according to Aurora police chief Dan Oates.[11][1][12][13]
Oates said that the suspect used two devices to distract the audience members, which "ignited some sort of irritant or smoke" in the cinema,[14] before using a Smith & Wesson AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, a 12-gauge Remington Model 870 shotgun, and a .40 caliber Glock handgun to shoot at the crowd in the cinema. A second Glock handgun was found in the suspect's white Hyundai car behind the cinema.[15][16]
Most of the audience did not take the gunman as a threat when he first entered the theater. He appeared to be wearing a costume, but others too had dressed up for the movie and thought the gunman was pulling off a prank until he dispersed gas canisters and began firing his weapons.[10] Some present thought the gunman was part of a special effects installation set up for the premiere.[17]
Around the first gun scene in the movie, the now masked gunman threw a canister emitting smoke, which partially obscured the audience's sight. The gunman produced a rifle and opened fire on the audience, only stopping to reload his weapon.[18] First he shot to the back of the room, and then aimed towards people who were trying to get away through the aisles.[17] Some bullets penetrated the wall of the cinema and injured people in the adjoining Theater 8, where the same film was being screened.[5] Upon leaving, an audience member saw the gunman advancing toward the exit and blocked his progress by holding the exit shut while the attacker pounded the other side of the door.[18]
The first 9-1-1 calls were made at 12:39 a.m., and the police arrived less than 90 seconds thereafter, almost immediately apprehending the suspect upon their arrival at the scene.[19] The police interviewed over 200 witnesses following the attack.[20] Investigators believe that the shooter acted on his own, and was not part of a larger group or a terrorist organization.[19] Holmes had bought approximately 6,000 rounds of ammunition in the 60 days prior to the shooting.[21] Victims
Ten people died at the scene, and two people were pronounced dead in local hospitals.[5] A total of 70 people were shot, with 58 people injured in addition to the 12 deaths.

I think a lot of people oversimplify the issue even in the States as blacks not applying themselves to a structural and educational system that was never designed for them in the first place. Even in Africa where Euro structured schools are put in place, the structural style was not designed for traditional African learning styles. Yes to acquire wealth and status the reality is people will have to apply European learning styles. But part of the Euro culture not relenting is that we dont realize the coercion ourselves and it is necessary for us to do so. We let Euro culture destroy this traditional style and say to ourselves we need the discipline to acquire it, as though it should be universally accepted. The Euro, especially in America relies on parading an image of freedom and choice and hates being associated with an image of oppression. Reaction comes with awareness that many blacks are being forced to a learning style that is contrary to our way of thought and learning. While the reality of needing to play along is there, its all to easy to feel opposition, withdrawal or a lack of genuine education when your learning style is different. We must not fall into the trap of justifying Euro hegemony by suggesting we are the problem and all of us need to have the discipline to conform.

One of the most fascinating issues for me, isn't the issue of individualism or collectivism as much as field dependence and field independence and how researchers are suggesting it affects personality temperament, and different needs in educational structure. Its European schools and their emulators across the world have been criticized for only catering to field independent learners. Marimba Ani warns about Euro desire to separate oneself from the environment which is exactly what happens in structurally Euro schools and some blacks will just reject it as "a bunch of bullsh!t" with no way of express it, because he's lived so long with Euros as his mouthpiece. Compared to Euros African Americans are more likely to want to be one with their environment and field. They dont as readily take context out of the learning experience. Euro tests and measures for intellect are field independent in structure cause of their standardized nature and lack of urgency for relevant context to the student.
The effects on the mind are of interest too, which is why I suggest that not everyone needs to go down that road.

The funny thing is though, that you dont see this problem in Euro culture. Euros also seek to evolve paradigms that have been created by others (like the African) such as art and mathematics and suggest their distinct contributions don't like the Asian count as adaptations and to a previously created concept.

Whatever problems blacks have it is the duty of black governments and black societies to solve them.
Almost 20 years after the dismantling of Apartheid it is surprising that in a place like SA scientific and lab materials are still scarce for the African students. What is the ANC government doing about these deficiencies in education.
In Nigeria it's the same despite daily inflows of petrodollars.
The simple axiom is that the black man must via his governments take responsibility for the educational state of their countries. But they don't. These governments seem lost in a daze. There is no sense of urgency in their actions. They just love to have others do what they should be doing themselves. That's why countries like China are let in so easily.
Individually, blacks do quite well in education. There are blacks who have gone to Russia, learned the language then went on to obtain good degrees in medicine, economics, engineering and the sciences in general. The same for black students who went to Germany, learned the language and performed well academically.
The thing about IQ tests has long been settled after the research done by Flynn and the fact that it is known that African American scores are uniformly higher than those of prestigious historical nations such as Iraq and Iran. Both were known in the past as Sumer(Mesopotamia) and Persia. India which supposedly had an impressive civilisation scores 81 on IQ tests. So IQ scores are determined by so-called race.

I don't think the Asian groups understand the selection process at most universities. Harvard accepts some 5.6% of applicants--which means that--to use a statistical language--the standard deviation from the man would be extremely small. In other words the SAT score of every student admitted would very high.
Under such circumstances criteria other than just SAT scores would be used to admit students. Criteria such as ethnicity, gender,international quota, region of origin, other abilities, etc. would be applied.
The Harvard intake breaks down as follows: 20% Asian, 11% AA, 11% Hispanic(this includes white Hispanics), Native American 2%, International students 1%, and 50% European Americans.
So why are they fussing? They are admitted way above their national numbers and there are other schools just as highly ranked.
