Isabel dos Santos, the daughter of Angola’s president, made a 1.2 billion-euro ($1.5 billion) bid for Portugal Telecom SGPS SA, the holding company that owns a minority stake in the carrier created from a merger with Brazilian telecommunications carrier Oi SA.

Dos Santos, an investor in Portugal Telecom rival Nos SGPS SA, is offering 1.35 euros a share through Lisbon-based Terra Peregrin-Participacoes SGPS SA, 11 percent more than the stock’s Nov. 7 close, according to a filing yesterday. Conditions include an acceptance level of more than 50 percent and no major changes such as a sale of strategic assets. Portugal Telecom rose as much as 15 percent in Lisbon.

Portugal Telecom no longer controls the operating assets of the country’s former phone monopoly after its merger with Brazil’s largest landline carrier. Oi, which is selling assets in Portugal and Africa, is considering a 7 billion-euro offer made this month by billionaire Patrick Drahi’s Altice SA for the Portuguese assets.

In a statement today, Rio de Janeiro-based Oi said it considers any changes to the terms agreed with Portugal Telecom “inopportune.”

Oi and Portugal Telecom agreed a year ago on a combination to create a carrier with 100 million customers to compete against Telefonica SA and Carlos Slim’s America Movil SAB. In July, the companies renegotiated the transaction to give Portugal Telecom a smaller stake in the combined entity after it emerged that the Lisbon-based partner was holding 897 million euros in short-term debt defaulted by Rioforte Investments SA, part of the Espirito Santo Group....

OPEC's first female president - Nigeria's Deziani Allision-Madueke -

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, congratulates President Goodluck Jonathan on the election of the Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, as President of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC.

Her election as the first female president of OPEC is, indeed, a confirmation of the successes of the Transformation Agenda of the present administration and the global confidence in Nigeria under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Alison-Madueke’s determined growth of the Nigerian operational capacity and local content in exploration and production, particularly through the facilitation and approval of large-scale divestments by oil majors to indigenous companies is unprecedented in Africa’s oil history. This is indeed part of the many landmark achievements of the exemplary government of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Moreover, as a leading exporter of oil, Nigeria is now advantageously positioned to contribute and help shape major decisions in the global oil market...

Congratulation to Portuguese businesswoman Isabela Dos Santos and Nigerian OPEC CEO Deziani Allison Madueke. Africa need mega businessmen and women to compete with the EU, USA and Chinese businessmen in Africa. Isabela Dos Santos looks like a Brazilian, Puerto Rican and Cuban women.

OPEC increase the production of oil in the world that cause the price of the barrel of oil to go down fom $100 to $60 to bankrupt the USA shell oil companies that is making the USA the number one oil producer in the world and a future oil exporter that would have steal clients from Opec oil exporters like Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Venezuela etc.

She stole it from the black people of Angola who are weighed down with poverty. And by the way, OPEC CEO is a very corrupt, profligate, and incompetent person wasting billions of dollars on useless private jet trips all over the world. People are saying that she is getting away with it because she is Jonathan's girlfriend--meaning she can't be fired.

Bridgette Radebe was honoured on Sunday with an international Business Person of the Year Award. South Africa's first black female mining entrepreneur is the only woman to head a deep-level, hard-rock mining company in South Africa.

Bestowed by the Global Foundation for Democracy, the Business Person of the Year Award recognises the achievements of individuals who have made a difference in an ever-changing political and environmental landscape.

The Foundation is dedicated to fostering democracy's message of individual, national, and international economy and social prosperity, human rights and global peace.

Past winners include former South African President FW de Klerk

In giving the award to Radebe, the Foundation described her as a heroic women and a born entrepreneur who defied legislation to build her own successful mining group.

"She is an economic activist, an agent of transformation and a pioneer of change who has played a key role in changing exclusionary mining legislation in South Africa and who pioneered the implementation of empowerment mining models in Africa and internationally," said the Foundation in a statement.

Radebe is the founder and CEO of Mmakau Mining, a founder and board of trustee member of the New Africa Mining Fund, founder and president of the SA Mining Development Association and vice-chairperson of the Minerals and Mining Development Board that advises the Minister of Minerals and Energy.

Radebe is the older sister of mining billionaire Patrice Motsepe and is married to Minister of Transport Jeff Radebe.

Billonaire Muureno from Nigeria. One of the World's Richest Women...

Hajia Bola Shagaya is famous. According to Forbes, she is the 10th wealthiest woman in Africa. The socialite may not have been born into a wealthy home like most people are, so it is enough to say that her success story would not have been possible if she hasn’t struggled.

She is a renowned business woman who has one of the biggest photographic materials business in West Africa and also one of the largest importers and distributors of base oil in Nigeria.
She has investments in real estate and more.

It is very uplifting to see powerful smart black women. Love it!

I truely believe now that women can make good leaders, probably better than men.

The evidence suggests women have been better pioneers compared to men during pre-history.

For some reason there was a setback during historical times.

It is refreshing to see so many African born business women prospering here in Philly.

Billonairess Folrunsho Alakija
 -

Nigerian oil tycoon, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, is now the richest black woman in the world with an estimated fortune of $7.3 billion.

Mother of four, Alakija, 62, unseats Winfrey as the richest black woman in the world.

According to Forbes, Oprah Winfrey is worth $2.9 billion. Africa boasts 55 billionaires and they’re worth a staggering $143.88 billion in total, according to pan-African magazine Ventures Africa.
Alakija started her career as a secretary in a bank in the mid 1970s. She then studied fashion in London and returned to Nigeria to start a label, Supreme Stitches. But her biggest break came in oil. In 1993, her company, Famfa Oil, was awarded an oil prospecting licence, which later became OML 127, one of Nigeria’s most prolific oil blocks.

The company owns a 60-per-cent stake in the block, valued at around $7.3 billion, Ventures Africa has reported.

Not praising nobody...just reporting facts.

I guess she is somewhere in the United States with some of her friends, or even some other millonaires and billonaires. Who cares who she sleeps with?

Maybe they are the poorer half cousins. Her Mother looks mixed blood. They could also be her servants having a christmas party with the boss. Anything is possible.

But it is the truth that her father is one of the richest industrialists in the world... Nigeria's homegrown Telecom Billonaire!

Mike, I'm starting to slowly agree with you....many Blacks are brain dead.

Lion says:
"Who cares who she sleeps with?
Maybe they are the poorer half cousins. Her Mother looks mixed blood. "

Who she sleeps with and with whom she identifies is critical. What does it matter if her father is one of richest industrialists in the world if he has no knowledge of self or of history ???

Mike has already demonstrated that one of the most disastrous things that Blacks can do, especially successful Blacks, is to create mulattoes.

Mulattoes rarely identify with Black and when cornered identify with the interests of White Supremacy. This woman looks like she has a manufactured nose, blonde extensions and probably even bleaches - very common in Nigeria. If you couple these facts with the photo, it is quite possible that she like most mulattoes does not identify as Black...but as a Black "plus"

If so she will then marry white/albino or another mulattoe and then within 2 generations her father's billions will be removed from blacks and placed firmly in control of the enemies of Blacks....

Oh, pleeezzze Mike, get off that holier than thou...nonsense.

You have no business with whom anyone sleeps with except you are a perv.

Considering how much you, Mike support same sex relationship especially gay love irrespective of colour; you should not be heard railing against interracial relationship between straight people?

The gyal, she maybe mix blood but she identifies as black. Her Daddy is the Black Billonaire..lol.. not the Mommy.

Her father is Nigerian, she lives in Nigeria, dates Nigerian men, speaks Nigerian languages and identifies with Nigeria. But she is a billon Dollar heiress. Come on be happy for black people for once.

 -

Now here is Chirlane Macray and Mayor De Blasio. Is she a sellout, or is he a sell out?

Free up yourself...

Lion, let me guess ... you are an African. How do i know ??

1. you appear to have a chronic inability to reason beyond a fifth grade level.

2. Despite all the horrors inflicted upon Blacks by Whites, you still appear to be in love with Whites.

You celebrate the production of mulattoes as if it is a good thing (history shows the opposite)
in of itself and you have not addressed white supremacy.

Mike, I am African and so are you though you may not realize it.

Rudeness is mark of weak people. I will let the grade 5 thing pass.

Yes, we know the past has been horrible. But this thread is about Rich African women. Why are you bellyaching about whites? Why does that piss you off?

I celebrate myself. My African culture. My muurish culture. At the same time I am not into eugenics.

Life is live and let live. And be happy for Rich Black people while you are at it...

Here is the richest black woman on earth. Full blooded Muuress from Nigeria. A non mulato. Her man is black too. Now let's hear you say hooray... [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

It is true that a lot of these black African leaders love light skinned or white females which means that love of whiteness comes from the parent and then is raised in the child. Th daughter of the Angolan president IS half Portuguese and a Portuguese citizen. She could easily take her money out of Africa any time she wants to. But then again a lot of these coal black Negroes in the world hate themselves anyway so it isn't shocking.

Doug, Here is an interesting statistic. As of now the wives of the Presidents of Angola--before Neto and now Dos Santos--Gabon, and Cote d'Ivoire are of European extraction. Before that the wives of ex-Presidents of Senegal, Senghor and Wade had French wives. Nkrumah's wife was Coptic Egyptian. He claimed that Nasser made the offer as a gesture in favour of Pan Africanism. But Nasser did not reciprocate--interestingly enough. Sadat's wife was English, so too the wife of Mubarak.

With the intellectuals matters are also eye-opening. Cheikh Diop had a French wife, Fanon too, and Nkrumah had a Coptic Egyptian wife. Cabral also had a white wife from Portugal.

In sports, Africa's best tennis player ever Yannick Noah(white mother) has a white wife, so too Pele. Usain Bolt was moving in that direction but strong criticisms made him change his mind for public consumption. An extreme case is that of Tiger Woods.

The issue, of course, is what were/are the psychological reasons for such.

But the biggest puzzle of all is De Blasio. He courted and married a black(very) lesbian. Was he making some kind of statement? We are told that it would be very sexist, macho, and insulting for a hetero male to seek to "convert" a lesbian. It would certainly take some courage for a hetero male to woo a lesbian. So how are those who view homosexuality as normal and not aberrant view this? I have yet to read of condemnations of De Blasio.

That is the problem, The leaders are supposed to be examples for there people.

Just realize how great Africans are.

On another thread I read that the comorians in the island, have basically the same genetic links like the Lemba of South Africa.

We all know what the Lemba Claim.

Also heard on another thread that Yemen's African genetics is not from slavery but a unique African genetic.

So Africans must understand that They are Blessed people.

Most Beautiful women in the World in Africa. From across the continent. Yet some leaders marry euros??? I doubt it's for love.

Then you hear that Nigeria has the Nok civilization as Old as greece, egypt etc. Yet its there that they have "Nollywood [Roll Eyes] "
and bleaching the highest in the earth.
There is another region that has many commercials on bleaching and high rates of bleaching and there even larger movie industry

Ya'll got some explaining to do.

I am am glad you brought De Blasio up King.

I never knew his background

To be honest I am shocked by how geniune the realtionship seems to be between he and his wife.

It seems to be "true" love. Unlike the pro-atheletes and their white gold digging wives.

I have new respect for De Blasio and his family.

Plus she "seems" afro-centrics. hmmmm!

The whole point is that, marry for Love!!!

You love that person, it don't matter the background.

Sadly though what I see in many of these marriages especially among the wealthy, is not real love marriages. Convenience more like. Thats sad.

My bad. Lamin brought up the puzzle of De Blasio which I looked into and followed up on.

But King your point is noted.

Maybe De Blasio tested and came out PN2. AMRTU, will that make him "black African"? Afterall, E1b* units all Africans including the Roman/Italians (sic).

De Blasio looks like any ordinary white guy. Nothing African there--even if he were some version of E. Take 1000 white men, one of them at least, and for whatever reasons, would fantasize about sexing a "black lesbian". And there would be other fetishes too. That's just how statistics works.

There is no such thing as a "reformed" lesbian. Just as there is no such thing as reformed gay.

As with most of these people ... It is a learned behavior ie bad habit picked up by those who are preyed upon by Westen Society. Indoctrination from a young age. Very few men are born likening dicckk in their ass.

She was never a lesbian!

The lifestyle is being forced down our throats.

You are right bro... Deblasio is a Muurish blood brother. You don't see how the NYPD police disrespect him?

Even if his ancestry was not PN2, his generation is black.

Muurs come in all shades and colours.

And finally, Lamin, you are bitching and hating on Muurs as usual. Please be happy for Rich Black People... [Razz]

I have absolutely no idea who or what is a "Muur". Sorry. The usual sad thing: whenever any ordinary and routine white guys fronts some "affection" for black the lowly caste members rush in with a full embrace of the white "fronter".

^^And your pink ass happens to have divined Deblasio and exposed him as a fraud? You are one pink ass charlatan for sure!

Sister Lamin, what have you ever done for Muurs besides come in here like a house-fly looking for **** to eat? Tell me my dear sister... what have you ever done for Black people?

DeBlasio at least spoke up and was counted.

Which side are you on?

And please be happy for successful Muurish women!

Ironfaggot, you Blacks can have the self hating, traitorous, Anti-White De Blasio. Luckily he ended his blood line before he sired White children & infected them with his self hating Anti-White bull. He has become Black by injection.

Pascaline Bongo Ondimba, daughter of former president of Gabon Omar Bongo Ondimba, quiet Billonaire Muuress.

Pascaline Bongo is the eldest daughter of Omar Bongo and Louise Mouyabi Moukala.

 -

Pascaline Bongo was appointed as Personal Adviser to the President of the Republic in 1987 and entered the government as Minister of Foreign Affairs in June 1991. President Bongo had entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to close relatives since 1981. Pascaline's immediate predecessor in that post was her half-brother Ali Bongo, who was several years younger than Pascaline and had been rendered ineligible for a ministerial post by a constitutional age requirement. In her first address to the United Nations later in 1991, she praised the expulsion of Iraqi forces from Kuwait and expressed concern over violence in South Africa. She welcomed reforms in South Africa, but also stressed that further steps were needed to fully eliminate the apartheid system. Noting the collapse of socialism in the Warsaw Pact countries, she said that the world was witnessing rapid change, but she emphasized Gabon's view that the economic gulf between developed and developing countries—the global "north" and "south"—was "the real problem".

Doxie you are one stooopid, confused albino boy!

Last time you claimed you were a native American, then you said you were a Muur, then stated you might be mix blood. What is your pedigree before you judge others?

Hater, what are you really?

A Muur, Indian or pink ass man? Please answer...

In this instance he the "injector" and not the "injectee"? Lol.

If a lesbian looked like her as in her younger days. Many men will inject her.

Ahmose-Nefertari of Ancient Egypt was the first Queen of the 18th Dynasty. She was a daughter of Seqenenre Tao II and Ahhotep I, and royal sister and the great royal wife of pharaoh, Ahmose I. She was the mother of king Amenhotep I and may have served as his regent when he was young. Ahmose-Nefertari was deified after her death.

LOL. You are ridiculous and ignorant. All you do is post nonsense photos of some of the offspring of some of the biggest thieves in Africa for the naive so as to show that Africa has wealthy people. Man, you are a big joke. Those leaves are sure affecting what's left of your brain neurons and synapses.

Again, I have no idea who or what is a Muur.

She works directly with the minister, advising him on his policies regarding private sector investments into the food and agriculture sector. Osakwe also interacts with current and prospective agribusiness investors and champions innovative approaches to channel sustainable private sector engagements in the sector. Previously, she served as Vice President of Kuramo Capital, a New York-based investment management firm. She also worked in various capacities at the African Development Bank.
