What a sparkler! Biggest diamond EVER sold at auction sells for £25MILLION - disappointing experts who thought the 163-carat whopper might go for over £37million
Largest diamond ever sold tonight for £25million in Geneva, Switzerland
It was bought by anonymous phone bidder at Christie's autumn jewel auction
Experts left disappointed flawless D coloured piece went for less than £37million

Mena: The Art of Grisogono diamond necklace is the most beautiful diamond necklace I have ever seen. The 163.41 carat diamond pendant is beautiful and flawless. What I love the most with the necklace is the different color of each side of the necklace. One side is made of green emeralds and the other side of white diamonds.

I like the gems and jewelry business. A diamond you can hold in your hand can be worth millions of dollars. If I am a private jewelry seller I only have to sell three expensive diamond necklaces or a combination of one diamond necklace, one diamond bracelet, one diamond ring or gem for the entire year and never have to work again for the year.

If I have money I would have open a diamond trading and cutting company in an African country and hire agents or diamond buyers to travel in many African countries to buy diamonds. I diamond that cost $10 million dollars in Europe can be bought for $1 million in Africa.

The rough was analysed in Antwerp and cut in New York, where a team of 10 diamond-cutting specialists were involved in mapping, plotting, cleaving, laser-cutting and polishing the giant rough rock into a polished, flawless diamond

D is the highest colour grade attributed to a diamond, indicating that the stone is completely colourless, and thus extremely rare
