I used unscaled coordinates this time and I admit I'm quite surprised by how similar I am to these people :

 -

My background : I'm originally from North-East Morocco. My mother is riffian and look south european while my father is half riffian half oujdi and he looks typically north african. I look north african (even got these slightly slanted type of eyes typically found among many berbers) even though people online often assume I'm latino or turk.

Ok, thanks for sharing.

I remember there was a paper out showing Hg A being present in North Africa due the Khoisan. I forgot about the name of the paper. I think it due to them Africans all over the continent have slanted eyes (epicanthic folds).

Interesting I've read it might be linked to Iberomaurusians or aterians (such feature actually peaks in the Souss region and they have the highest proportion of iberomaurusian ancestry so there might be some truth to it)

Populations are represented by circles and numbered as in Table S5. Sectors within circles are proportional to the frequency of haplogroup A1a (green), A1b (red) and A2-T (black). Green asterisks 10,30-32 indicate countries were haplogroup A1a has previously been observed
