Hello all,I recently married an Egyptian ('Embassy' married, not 'orfi'), I live in Uk and he still resides in Egypt. He's pretty sure that I dont need to pay for a visa again to enter Egypt, but I am not so sure.On my previous visits, I have had my passport pre-stamped from the Egyptian Embassy, to avoid the que at the airport. I have tried to contact the Egyptian Embassy via phone and post but nothing from them so far. Can anyone tell me if I do actually need to pay for a visa as I am married to an Egyptian? Thank you in advance.

He is right and you don't even need an embassy marriage to take advantage of this I am orfi married (but court registered) and the last two times i came into Egypt I didn't pay for a visa. At the queue I produced my marriage certificate and that was it. I got the stamp in my passport the same but didn't have to buy the stamps.
Also you get discount on internal Egypt air flights, hotel rates and entrance to sites. I don't know if there are any other savings but those are the ones i know about and have used.
