I have found a fantastic fish restaurant in Luxor called Pirates. Excellent food, cheap prices, first class service. Anyone visiting Luxor who wants a first class dining experience should give it a try. Located outside the gates of the Sheraton.

Thanks for the advice. The fish restaraunt in the middle of town has gone downhill so it is nice to know where to go.

The Amun restautant near Luxor temple does some good fish too. The others seem to overcook it until it is like cardboard.

For buying fresh fish - the best value I have found is from the man near the top of Medina Street - pavement, of course. !!
