Are we a tad sensitive/insecure DC? Why? I know precisely what you posted there. I personally was thankful for the way it read, but I sure as hell wasn't about to remark on it and bring that topic back up to the top. I for one was glad it was dieing, but now you've changed it and edited it to read like this? GEEZ!

You aren't the only one that has a heart attack whenever you don't have a remark made to every post you make, but for Gods sake, stop it...all of you - stop it, ok?

Posting on a board is like carrying conversation....if someone has something to say about what you said, fine, they will say it.... all threads have to die sometime. Everyone has been the LAST to post on some thread, sometime....maybe even Monica, and she didn't have an insecurity attack when it happened. Come on. It's no big deal. Start 5 new threads.... 2 or 3 will probably get some response.... we can't all win 100% of the time.

We are mates and I have been as grateful for your support as I know you were for mine. I have no idea what line it was that you did not get a response from but there are a couple of lines that I am desperately hoping will die a death and will not respond to again under any circumstances. Every time I see them come to the top of the list I want to run and hide.

There are others that I wish people would read (like the "MY Luxor" and the "In response to ..." threads of Akshar's but there I don't get upset when they don't.

I value your comments and I am sure many others do too. Sorry if I have been neglectful.

Tx for clearing that up for me. Question, as I had deleted it, how did you get access to what I deleted. I will bear that in mind, however, the quote you can't win 100% of the time, lol, I doubt I have scored 1% response, but thank you for making a big issue of it and posting a thread about it, that should bite me in the butt. I will await the onslaught. You certainly did now bring it to the forefront. TX for raising the issue of deep my insecurities as you in your infinite wisdom deem it to be. You know what, I really did like you, I looked up to you. So now is this supposed to make me feel better about myself, gee, tx debbie for sharing that with me, I really feel on top of the world. Cannabis, is/was illegal in Britain but they were doing trials on it to judge if doctors can prescribe it for MS sufferes. At the time there were a lot of articles about it in the papers. Anyway my MS was playing up and I was in a lot of pain, (evidenced by a grimace every time I moved) so a bunch of my students decided to help me out and run some tests of their own.

They baked me a chocolate cake in the mircrowave in their Hall of Residence and dosed it with cannabis resin. They then left it on my doorstep with a note attached to it saying "with zing - enjoy". In my naivity I had no idea what they were on about but it was nice to have a cake cooked for me - so I ate it - the lot. I was off the planet and it was a week before my legs worked again.
