I'm curious to know when the high/low season is in Egypt? I thought it was during the hot summer months but I have read on several occasions that people from the very hot Arab countries visit at that time. So is there a low season?

Normally I would have said that the low season in Luxor was in the hotter months - June until September - but Luxor has been busy all summer.

Have never seen Sharm as busy as it was this summer..it was heaving...Gave up going to Naama bay in the evening. It is quieter now but will pick up again in October for the European market but I doubt it will be as busy as the summer months. Christmas/New year is also a busy time.
Although from a european perspective the hot summer months should be low season..prices do not reflect this... as ever the tour companies cash in on families only able to go away in the school holidays.
