Hi, please excuse any misstakes, first timer. Has anybody been to The Captains Inn hotel? if so please let me know what it is like. My hubby booked this at the last minute as a surprise for me, and I don't want anything to spoil it. [Razz]

El-Gouna is superb. I have been twice and I fell in love with the place. It really stands out compared to the other resorts as its clean, modern, relaxing yet it maintains its own unique character. The one image that sticks to my mind is during sunset when you are on the beach you see crytal clear water, golden sand and behind that the greenery of the golf courses and then a brilliantly red mountain backdrop. Absolutely awe inspiring. Orascom have done a brilliant job.
