Anyone been to either?
Ideal if both as to compare them.

was next door in the hilton and friends in the reaissance they said it was very good looks nice from out side i thought and gardens

I beleive....the Mariott is in Naama Bay(next to all the shops and resturants) and the Renaissance is located in Hadaba(about a 15min taxi drive to Namma).
We stayed in the Renaissance last year. It was a new hotel with a good special rate, great view of the sea, and fantastic snokelling. The downside was alot of steps, and a rocky beach. We did rent a taxi and went into namma bay twice.
