Question: I had a sister come to me yesterday in great distress. She confessed that she finds herself masturbating and is not sure what to do to stop. She said she stops as soon as she realizes what she is doing. Her confusion is that she is not doing it intentionally. She was wondering how a one would know if a "Jinn" was touching her or "making her do" such things which she does not want to do and sincerely keeps asking Allah for guidance and forgiveness.

actually sonomod in islam sex is not a taboo subject. ofcourse as long as you're not talking dirty but trying to make a point. but ofcourse the arab culture as usual messed with islam and turned sex into the most taboo subject we have!

I agree with Everyday-Angel, it is weired how can sister tells her brother about such things, she can consult a doctor, Doctor, Read every day Quaran, do some sports everyday, it will work for sure

Just to clarify this issue as it seems to be causing some confusion. If you checked out the site you would see that it is one that addresses many different aspects according to Islam, some in the form of articles and others in the form of questions asking for legal opinions, and in Islam that inlcudes opinions on personal matters and worship as well as general legal matters.
